EMPIRE FENCE

The fence is fine but the provider was awful. It was a bad experience. They broke many vines of our sprinkler system and they don’t cover that at all but that was fine since we kind of knew at the beginning. What really upset us was that they went ahead to pull out the tubing that they broke through and tried to tear it out so when the people who came to repair it told us that had they left it alone they could have repaired just that particular area and because of what they did we had to have the whole line dug up and replace it at our charge. This was really upsetting to us. We had to pay $200 to $300 more on top of the fencing charges. They should have known that. Price wise we did get some different prices and they were pretty good price but it ended up being way more than the other people once we had to fix everything. The quality was really nice. We would never use them again.

It started fine, he was a few days late that didn't bother me. The fence was up and I was fairly pleased. When he dug the holes he decided to spread the dirt in my neighbors yard. Then he left a bunch of limbs from trees that he cut down. I asked him if he was going to remove them. He said he didn't have that in the bid. I took them out. This is when the nightmare begins. I paid him in full which was a big mistake. A week later I get a letter from the city stating that where the fence was placed was in violation of city code. He applied for the permit and just started working. So when he was installing the fence he had no permit. He told me that was the way he worked and that he has been doing this for 30 years and never ran into anything like this before! He told me that he was going to get it fixed. 2 months go by and now he tells me he has to cut down the fence or he will be fined. I told him not to. He came in and cut down the fence any ways. Right now I have 2 sides of a nice fence, and 1 side is a chain link temporary fence. I can't get a hold of him.Now I have to hire a new contractor to come fix the fence. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
