First I got a few estimates and Elmer's was not the lowest, but not the highest. In comparing the price with a friend who had a roof done this year, I found it to be fair. He brought me over some sample boards of greys, then I changed my mind and he brought over the browns. When I had questions after work hours he was more than happy to answer them for me. I had to wait a bit to finish other business, and when I was ready he told me when the crew was avaiable and we set up the time. The 1st day I came home from work and the roof had the underlayer done. There was no old shingles or debris in site. The 2nd day I came home and had a new and beautiful roof! I am very pleased with the work and service.

Excellent job. Very quick response for an estimate. I did not have other estimates to compare price. Used a quote from a startup company in the spring as comparison. E& B was higher by about $900, so that is why they got a B for price. Chose E & B because of excellent reviews. Seemed to have a full schedule, but fit my project in when a new project was not ready. Glad I choose Elmer, good guy.

Contacted Elmer at E&B roofing about replacing my bad Certainteed shingles and he hand delivered an estimate in one and a half hours that was equal to other bids and less than some. He explained the process of when and how long the job would be and that was exactly how it went. No roll off dumpsters in my driveway, they hauled the old shingles away immediately, they did the house and garage roof in one and a half days, and did not leave our home exposed to the elements over night. They also cleaned up all the scraps around the yard and swep off our patio. Elmer alos assisted with sending in and filling out the paper work for getting a refund on our old Certainteed shingles. Very pleasant experience, and I would certainly recommend them!

Elmer and his crew are great to work with. He will take you through the whole process and give you as much detail as you care for. Once we made the decision, Elmer had it done within the week. He even helps you with the nasty paperwork needed in getting through the Certainteed reimbursement program. He is now installing a valley heating system for an area of our roof that doesn't get any sun and usually creates ice dams. Highly recommend this team.

Elmer from E&B Roofing was recommended to me by a roofing company that specializes in roofs other than ours. I am very pleased with their recommendation. From the beginning Elmer was very prompt and delivered as promised. He went out of his way to meet with me, and changed his schedule to meet mine, even after normal hours. I wanted to use a credit card to get the points which E&B Roofing does not take. Elmer said that he does not mark up the materials and if I wanted I could meet him at the supplier and buy the materials directly. Elmer held true to his words and helped us pick out the correct shingles and took us to the supplier. Material cost approximately $7,600 which included new roof vents, nails and etc. Total cost of our roof with labor was approximately $18,000. We do have a large roof with many peaks and valleys. The crew was very professional and went out of their way to insure we weren't inconvenienced in any way. They were consistently here when they said they would be and finished on schedule. Every night the work area was picked up and the roof secured for any weather that may occur during the night. They were even willing to take care of a small problem with the siding on the chimney so I wouldn't have to get up on the roof. Our original roof was included in a settlement which entitled us to get reimbursed for part of the expenses of the new roof. Elmer and his crew took the required pictures, printed them and gave me a box to send an old shingle in. Elmer also took the time to help me fill out the required paper work which saved me a lot of time. Elmer's wife often accompanies him and I would recommend you take the time to meet her. They immediately put you at ease with your decision to hire them. Their experience (twenty plus years I believe) and their attitude toward business is one to be admired and respected.

It was a pleasure working with E & B. They took off our old shingles on the first day, and were finished putting the new shingles on by the second day. We couldn't be happier with their service. Our driveway and yard were clean (no debris) and the crew was very friendly. We would recommend them to anyone.

We noticed a leak above our sliding glass door that opens to our covered deck. We called Elmer, and he came over with a worker on a Saturday morning. They found a crack in a plastic roof vent right above the leak and patched it until they could get us metal replacement vents (they didn't have black in stock, as it's not the "typical" roof vent color). The vents came in very quickly, the workers came over and replaced 15 vents as soon as they came in, and the cost was VERY reasonable. We were impressed with both the responsiveness and the speed of the work. We're very happy with E&B! Roofing!

E and B Roofing did an excellent job of removing existing and installing new shingles on my roof. During the process of removing the existing shingles, they had re-applied tar paper and ice/water shield on my roof and that is where it was left overnight. During the evening, Sioux Falls received wind and 3-4 inches of rain. I had absolutely no leaks or any problems with the roof even in the half completed condition. They had taken care to ensure that the roof was secure and water tight after their first days work. The job was completed 2 days later, and the roof looks great!. Thank you!
