James came out and looked the job over and sent a bid in record time. I felt Janmes was knowlegable and professional. He explained everything in detail. I awarded DRG the bid. Then the plumbers came out to dig up the floor. There was a Brian and unfourtunatly the other I forgot. They both were very good and did excellent work and also worked well with the contractor that was building the walls and ceiling. Dave the owner was always available and did a great job on cordinating his men to get this done. Darcia the iowa office person help direct my wife to a place to pick out the shower bath unit. She is a great asset to DRG. Later on i had them send out James to work on our air conditioning. I had another guy last year from canton work on it and he could not understand it. James immediatly understood our duct work system and how the three roof top air conditioners service the building. I highly recommend DRG and I will never shop around any more. If a job needs to be done i know they will give me a fair price and do the work right and they stand behind what they do. They even repaired for me a plumbing job that was done by a local guy that does not stand behind his work. They bairly charged me to fix the other guys work. I can not say enough good about DRG.

As I have said DRG was to come and fix the problem. What we got was the run around...and a bill we didn't expect. Now here is what happened:
DRG mechanical out of Iowa showed up. The service guy came in and proceeded down to the basement. After about 5 minutes he came back upstairs and said that it was the expansion tank and that it needed air (funny...last time I checked...the expansion tank had plenty of air). Anyway he went out to my garage and shortly after that I heard my Air compressor running. He had tried to put more air in the expansion tank...BUT...I have the air compressor valve set for 50LBS (less than what he expansion tank has in it). He came back up after about 20 min and claimed victory over the issue. I said, "Thats funny...I didn't know you could fix the issue this quick"...he said there was not a issue...I stared at him...he then said it was a expansion tank issue...I said...."Hmmm...ok I know that was ok a few days ago....and I had that expansion tank installed under a year ago." He then said it was probably a faulty fuel reg valve....BINGO....you got it. He then said he had to go and that I should contact Home Warranty and let them know I should not have to pay $75.00 to have them come back....WAIT A MINUTE....SO THERE IS NO ISSUE BUT I WILL NEED YOU TO COME BACK????? After he left I saw the aftermath of what had happened. First of all the air compressor was behind my 2010 Harley Davidson Superglide Custom. I had a big scratch on my fender from who ever lifted the air compressor over the bike. Also my hose on my air compressor was kinked and now was leaking air. I went to the basement....WATER EVERYWHERE. Ok so now I have a broken air compessor...messy basement that my wife lovingly cleaned up...mud on my stairs....scratched paint job on my Harley...I was of course upset. PS...NOW IT LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE A OFFICE IN SIOUX FALLS...BUT THEY ARE ACTUALLY DOING BUSSINESS OUT OF IOWA...SHAME ON YOU.
I called DRG and got the following excuses...The did not deny that the Harley had a scratch....Instead they said that my wife had lifted the air compressor over the bike and she probably scratched it. OK...my wife is about 120lbs and the air compressor is around 50lbs. So am I to believe that my little wife reached over a motorcycle and picked up this air compressor? And if she did...Should a Service man that is well over 200lbs ask a 120lbs female to do this??? What if she had gotten injured...would DRG have paid for this?? As for the leak in the air hose on my brand new compressor....they said it was probably going to happen or was weak and he was just the unlucky guy that used it last. WHAT?.....ALSO...I recieved a bill from DRG...they said I owed them $57.50 more....and the issue stated that the water was luke warm at times on the bill (I believe they stated this because they know if it in fact does heat that high that a chance of failure resulting in serious injury or death could result). I demanded a new bill with the actual facts on it...I got a bill stating (intermittently heating)...Ok they still are being untruthful. I called stating that the water was close to boiling!!!!!! They just won't admit it due to liability issues. SO NOW WHAT. DRG has stated that if I don't pay this new bill upon recept then they will turn it over to collections. I am currently sending this issue to the Atty general of South Dakota (our BBB). I can not recommed this company nor can I recommend Home Warranty Service out of Rock Rapids Iowa. AND GUESS WHAT...the water heater still superheats AND it still leaks out of the T&P valve and also what looks like the Tank itself...AND even when you run cold water...you get hot water for sometime before the cold starts. As this issue goes on I am sure I will spend more money with Home Warranty bull then it would cost to fix out of pocket.
