Bob's Steam Carpet Cleaning

He did a good job on the carpet. My problem with Bob is he talks to much. He shared his polical views with me, which I did not appreciate as I did not share them. Then he told me he hoped my son in the Navy didn't get killed in the war. I felt sick to my stomach the rest of the day. No more work at my house for Bob's.

Did it quickly and did it same day. Very nice and professional. I thought it was expensive but did not do a price comparison. He missed a closet.

Bob was great. He showed up on time and was friendly while cleaning so it didn't seem awkward to have a stranger in your home cleaning. We told him about a troublesome spot in our daughters room where she had spilled some red flarp/gak on the floor and it got stuck on. He was able to get it all out so you can't see where it was anymore!! Also we had some staining on the carpet from previous people that have lived her and he was able to get some of them out. The carpet looked great when he was finished but as it dried some of the staining did come back. After Bob had left, I went to take my puppy outside and noticed that Bob had emptied something on our driveway which contained some fur that he must have vacuumed up when he was cleaning and our puppy tried to eat it. I hope Bob doesn't do that at every job as I had to clean it off the driveway. We were charged a lot extra to try to get the stains out even though he didn't have full success but we were told there was an extra charge when we were quoted but his wife had not told me exactly how much it would be and neither did Bob when he was there. Overall it was an ok experience. Bob said to call back as they guarantee their work but I figured he wouldn't be able to get the stains out that came back so I did not call. He estimated that our carpet had probably been about 7-10 years old so its probably in need of being replaced.... Too bad we rent!

Bob arrived exactly at the scheduled time. He asked if there were any stains, so we walked around all of the carpeting as I pointed them out. I have severe airborne allergies, especially to chemicals, so I asked him several questions about his products. He was happy to answer any questions I had and reassured me that his cleaning solution was as hypoallergenic as possible. He explained that several of his customers have breathing issues but that noone had ever had a reaction to the solutions he uses, especially the milder one he would use in my home because of my allergies. He then proceeded to treat the stains and steam the carpets. I had no reaction to the solution even though I stayed inside the entire time he cleaned. He did a fantastic job. ALL of my stains (many I couldn't identify and had been there quite some time) came out. He worked quickly and left the carpets damp, not soaked like some steam cleaners I have had in the past. I will definitely recommend him to friends. I will be calling him again in the future.

Really well. They said there is a variance of up to one hour. He was scheduled at noon. Pretty sure I was in the tub when the knock on the door came at 1130am! Didn't occur to me the variance could be early! ;) So that's a good thing. My apt is small (one bedroom) but he treats it just like it were a big job. Both times he came it was quick, pleasant, reasonable and the appts were available within 24 hours!

Very thorough, and leaves my carpets very clean and not sopping wet! Also, just a very pleasant person to have in your home.
