It did not go well. The contractors that hired this guy thought he did "nice, clean work" but I have had to live with the following: The kitchen was plumbed crazy - came up through one cabinet through another to get to the sink causing the pipies to go through an area I cannot reach to insulate so my pipes kept freezing all winter - I couldn't even get those heat tape things around it. Also, the kitchen sink wasn't properly sealed and the counter was destroyed. The bathroom has non-visual grade pipes that stick out like a sore thumb. The toilet wasn't placed properly so there are cracks and openings in the tile that are just left open. I think that part of the problem was the contractors that hired him, but part of it was certainly him as well.

We are sorry to hear the customers negative review and are really caught off guard as well. We were hired to do a job on her very old victorian house that was extremely run down and had been mickey moused by many other home owners through all the years. The client did not want to spend much money and was on a very tight budget, everything she bought for supplies was used and had to be made to fit. We did exactly what the contractor asked us to do on this job and did plenty of extra to try and make this work for her including 2-3 extra trips over free of charge. This property has three apartments inside and had existing cracks in the basement walls with a rotted plate so you could see outside in some spots and this is where her kitchen lines come up through and her lines were put back in the exact location they were in previously and they did not have insulation on before either since her basement is heated. We did the job per the contractors instructions and did the best job we could do here and believe this client is very confused on what she is requesting for the amount of money she is willing to spend. To do this job correctly her plumbing should have all be removed from the walls and replaced, but this was not an option on her small budget. The comment regarding the toliet issue was not part of my work and the tile person hired did not get the tile installed all the way up to the toliet flange so when we came in a set the toliet there were open cracks that the contractor grouted instead of retiling. Once again, we have always received very positive feedback from all our other clients and are sorry to see a review like this, but in the same respect cannot believe after trying to please the contractor and customer to get her the most for the $250.00 we were paid for this entire job. We have over 17 years of experience in plumbing including a masters license. Our customers are very important to us and we feel on this particular job we did everything we could to make her job work in a bad situation. Once again, sorry for the problems this client is experiencing, if she would have contacted us directly we may have been able to figure something out. ABSOLUTE Handyman Services.
