It went really good, it was two guys and they made sure it worked. It helps to have two people in a two story house. I didn't expect they would bring two people.

The technician was polite and professional. I was charged for 2.5 hours at $75/hr. I think the rate is a bit high, and I would be diligent in keeping track of the time worked, since I didn't think the tech was here for 2.5 hrs. The mileage charge was $0.75/mi. which I also thought was a bit high. $0.50/mi. is what most service organizations charge. Again, my communications with all personnel at Viking Mech. was pleasant.

The tech was extremely helpful, prompt and knowledgeable. He quoted the repair, modified the quote as he was working on it, thinking it might take him longer than planned. In the long run, he completed the repair in a timely fashion and under the original quoted price. This company was extremely prompt in attending to the needed repair and worked around my schedule. The tech was diligent in determining the issue and having the parts with him on the original call. I would recommend this company and would use them again. Thank you so much for your prompt service.

We've had work from them a couple of times recently. It's family-owned and locally operated business here. They have an excellent reputation. They're usually the one or two places recommended by anyone in town. They're a small company so sometimes they're poor in getting back to you with communication and appointments but aside from that, the quality of work has been fine.

The salesman was very professional and friendly. He provided a lot of really good information about heating and air-conditioning my house. He was not pushy. Based his honest information I feel I made the right decision which included not using their service. It just didn't make a lot of economic sense in my situation.

Ask Randy to come by my house and look at the ducting under my house because I wasn't getting enough heat in the back bedroom. He told me to email him when it was a Good time to stop by. I send a email on a Friday saying that Monday would Be a good day. He called me later that day and said he would be by at 9:30 on Monday . He arrived on time and spend a good 1/2 hour under my House looking things over. He told me that having the flex ducting replaced would make The difference of night and day and help my furnace run better . Two days Later he called with a estaminet and told me if I wanted it done to let him Know. I told him that I did want it done and he said he would get me on the books. The following Thursday he called and said he could get it done the following Monday. It was done in a timely manner and 6 dollars under budget!!! And it did make the difference of night and day .

When the heat was out in our rental I had Viking Mechanical referred to me by a co-worker and friend. Called and although they were booked up they added the house on at the end of the day. This was right at the first cold snap of the winter and temperatures that weekend were slated to drop to the teens with high winds. So on a Friday they went and did the repairs and did not even charge extra for after hours or for an emergency. That Sunday the heat went out again. Based on the high winds Viking Mechanical recommended I check the pilot light before they made a call. The pilot light was out but I could not get it to stay lit. I called him back and he stopped by after his last call, started the pilot light and then called me to let me know that it had to be held down for a minute or more to heat up the fail safe switch before it would remain on. He did not even charge me for this call. I came away feeling like I had gotten old fashioned personal and thoughtful service at a good price the first time and a fantastic price, free, the second. At this point I can't see calling anyone but Viking for my heating and cooling needs.

We really appreciated the service we received from a nice young man who came out to fix our A/C. We have a window unit which it turns out they do not usually work on. He did it anyway. He arrived on schedule and got the unit working again in one visit. The cost to us was reasonable too. Can't thank you enough with the summer temperatures being so hot.

Things couldn't have gone smoother. Randy was very thorough in examining what needed to be done to complete the work. He informed me of his expectations and discussed possible concerns. Once I accepted his quote, he immediately ordered the materials and had his installer call to set up an installation date. Unfortunately, for the installers, they had to put the unit in on the hottest day of the summer. They started on time as promised. They were professional and neat and tidy in their work. They left the work areas, inside and outside, clean and as they had found them. Everything works great and my home is very comfortable now. Viking Mechanical was very easy to work with.

They fitted us into their schedule and came two days earlier than their original estimate. They investigated, reported to us, we gave the go ahead to repair. It was fixed and we have had no trouble with it. This is the 3rd time they have been out and have always been quick and efficient.
