Mike came the same day I called. He pulled out the cabinet that same day and brought the unit back the next day. Everything fit nicely and very snug.

I found this contractor on Angie's site. I still can't find evidence that he is licensed. He visited my home on several occasions during which he assessed my remodeling needs. He appeared to understand what was required in the way of skills. The subcontractors who he uses took weeks to prepare estimates. Mr. Keller had excuses on why he could not begin my work each time I suggested that he start work. I bought a 40-year-old home which I intended to totally overhaul the kitchen and living room. I never unpacked my belongings in anticipation of requiring those rooms to be empty of furnishings. A couple months went by while Mr. Keller continued to insist that the plumbing work be done before he would even attempt installation of new cabinets or wall alterations. Unfortunately, Mr. Keller's plumber took several weeks before an estimate was presented. Meanwhile, I was holed up in my bedroom utilizing a bathroom as a makeshift kitchen, all the while wondering why on earth Mr. Keller couldn't start some aspects of the remodel process. When I finally received the plumber's estimate, I assumed by signing the proposal this meant work would start IMMEDIATELY (at long last!), especially since a new boiler would be installed, and I paid for the new boiler in cash by putting the plumber's name on the check. Alas, timeliness was not to be. Another two weeks went by and still no plumber showing up with the new boiler, which I had already bought! Mr. Keller suggested I call the plumber myself, not he. Three weeks prior to that time, Mr. Keller's painter had come over to take notes on a painting estimate. (I still have not received that estimate). Each time Mr. Keller accompanied his favored subcontractors to my house, they would spend most of the time chatting like old friends. They were always courteous and friendly; however, I saw no evidence that either were one bit concerned about making haste in getting my remodeling started. More recently I looked at data indicating average charges for plumbers in my area and discovered Mr. Keller's plumber jacked up charges more than 25%! Meanwhile, another contractor came out to my house to give me an estimate on a gas fireplace installation. The supplier where I purchased the fireplace referred this contractor to me. He also assessed my predicament and seemed eager to do my remodeling. He promptly gave me a reasonable estimate and I accepted his proposal. He started work immediately. I also note that this contractor is indeed licensed.

He built some cabinets in our home when we remodeled. He put crown molding and baseboard trim in the house. He installed windows in our farmhouse and built shelving there. He also installed wood floors. I would give him all A's. He is very easy to work with.
