My 6 year old refrigerator broke at the end July. Called K & D and they couldn’t come for 2 weeks. When they came, they took 2 min diagnosing it and then ordered parts. For the next 3 months, Samsung called me weekly saying they shipped the ice maker and wanted to know if K&D had done the work, but when I called K&D they couldn’t tell me when the parts would arrive or even where they were in the order process. Each time I called K&D they had no idea what was going on or where my parts were. After getting the run around for 3 months they said they had the parts to fix the frig but not the ice maker. When the tech arrived, it turns out he still only had half the parts and again they couldn’t tell me when the remaining part would arrive. In the meantime, Samsung dismissed K&D as a service provider (they were frustrated too) and I received a call from Owens Interstate Sales out of Sturgis. They said he had the parts and could come out in 2 days. They showed up at the time scheduled time, not a 4-hour time range like K&D, fixed the frig in an hour and billed me$102. I then cancelled the repair with K&D, and they preceded to send me a bill for $415. I wish I would’ve never called K&D. K&D is the most incompetent and overpriced service company I’ve dealt with. Owens on the other hand were amazing and charged a fair price.

I called to schedule an appointment and they were able to come out the same day. They diagnosed the problem and repaired the furnace to working order in less than an hour. No parts were needed and there was only a trip charge plus a labor charge.

Showed up on time and fixed the unit that day. No problems since.

Was happy with response ant tech was nice and did the repair in good time. Was not aware of the $70 mileage fee when they are only a few miles from our home. Will be a big factor if we call them again. Was almost as much as the parts and labor.

Worked with Dave, the owner, figuring out which Trane components, were the best to suit the needs of my single family residence. In a 65 year old house, there are issues to be resolved. Not a big deal for Dave. The install date was settled upon and the work I was to do accomplished before their arrival. Such as putting in new thermostat cable, getting the electrical disconnect installed and getting the natural gas line - on line. The two guys who installed the units were the best. Timely, knowledgeable, efficient, and neat about their work. They were also able to install the lines to the condensing unit so I would not remove part of the ceiling in my basement. This is impressive. As a final note: When the city inspector arrived post install, a few questions and the furnace/AC was passed as the guys at the city inspection office know of their quality of work.. Again impressive.

The person that came out thoroughly analyzed all alternatives. It was not possible to pass a line through the kitchen cabinets. It took a while, but the job was well done.

I have depended on Kand D for furnace, a/c, and other appliance repairs for several years and will continue to do so because of the quality service. Technician arrived within the time window I was given on both days this repair required. Overall grade would be an A except that they now only service my area once a week.

Technician called ahead and arrived when he said he would. Determined that the issue is a bad compressor. Quoted $500 for repair but suggested that I contact the manufacturer and complain. He stated that he has replace several compressors on the model I own and indicated that the product is flawed design because the compressor is not proper size for this sized unit. Most of the repairs he did on this model were under warranty but mine was not. I took his advice and Whirlpool said they recognize the issue and offered a one-time warranty replacement (parts and labor). Unfortunately I will probably have the same issue in the future but I appreciate Kand D technician's advise and honesty.

Too long ago. No issues though.

My furnace went out in the middle of the winter and they said that they will stay until it's fixed and brought things to keep the house heated, which was totally awesome. They were very friendly and their prices were very reasonable. They were very professional and hardworking. They made sure that I had a heat source so I didn't freeze.

I was very pleased with the service. Got me on the schedule quickly, and were on time. thought the price was reasonable as well.

These guys were fantastic. We just wanted to have our furnace checked and serviced. The technician arrived on-time and was extremely thorough and took the time to explain what he was doing, what was good and what to keep an eye out in the future. Additionally, he checked our gas fireplace and heater in our garage. Usually, we aren't comfortable leaving while a service person is in our house, but we had an appointment come up and we felt comfortable letting him finish the checks. I will defiantly use these guys next year.

Good information provided. Friendly and courteous. The balancing of A/C outlets was needed because my older home has no A/C outlet in either bedroom. Came in 2 days instead of the 2 weeks Viking Mechanical was scheduling due to this major heat wave. Showed me where Street Heating and Sheet Metal did not seal ductwork when they installed the system. (Do not use Street. They do things the easiest way and barely pass code. They did not install a heat outlet in laundry room or seal ductwork.) Kand D provides the kind of service I strove to give when I ran a business.I'll call them again when I need them and recommend them highly.Reasonable price.

Excellent overall job. Tech was friendly and professional. Tech arrived during scheduled appointment window. Very clean work.

They do not service the military base. They said that they've had problems getting on base before and that I would have to bring my washing machine to them. If someone is willing to escort you onto the base, you should have no problems if you have a valid driver's license, insurance, and registration. These are standard documents for ALL guests on ANY military installation. I was quite disappointed. If you live on base, don't waste your time.

the serviceman was sent out the next day after I called. The washer was ok except for a little leak. We decided it would be almost as expensive to repair as anew one so I decided to go ahead and use it awhile. I shall call this company if I hve a problem with an apliance.

Great--except for being without a dishwasher for a week and a half. We know how to wash the dishes by hand.

After calling someone else who would not get the job done, we called these guys based on a recommendation from a laundromat. They came out when they said they would, they fixed the problem and we have not had to make any further calls.

I took in the clutch and they had one in store with out me having to wait for an ord. to be placed. For this I am greatful.

What a relief it was to have this company come out and figure out what was wrong with my a/c unit! I had a bad experience with another company on several service calls and they never figured out what was wrong with the unit. K & D responded quickly and punctually. The technician was an older gentleman who, after briefly questioning me about what the unit was doing and inspecting it himself, knew exactly what was wrong. He explained to me what the problem was and it made sense. He promised to check on the part and call back. He promptly called back and scheduled the service. One week later, our a/c unit was cooling noise free!
