They did a great job on most of the work, but in the bathroom, no fixtures were removed from the walls when the texturing was done so the texturing around the vanity mirror and light fixture was ugly and very inconsistent with the rest of the bathroom. They did make an effort to fix the work but it wasn't a very good attempt. I think to do it properly, the area would have to be completely sanded and re-textured but all they did was a light sanding and re-texturing with a can. Maybe part of the problem was that the rest of the bathroom and basement texture looked so good, comparatively. They did some minor patchwork and other finish work that wasn't discussed but they also messed up my bathroom door trim when they fixed the door (which was discussed) and never repaired the damage. They said they would return to fix the damage, but I kinda figured they wouldn't. There was no written estimate which seemed a bit unprofessional but the workers were very friendly and experienced. Also, the cleanup was not very thorough. I have no frame of reference for the price but it seemed high and was higher than I wanted to pay. All in all, I would still probably use them again.

In my previous experience with Anthony's Texture and Drywall, I commented that I wouldn't hesitate to contact Tony if I ever needed his assistance in the future. (See my review from 5/16/13) Once again, I am so glad that I was able to contract Tony for this extensive house renovation. He prepped the areas, installed insulation, hung drywall, taped, applied the "mud", textured and painted the walls and ceilings throughout the living room, two large bedrooms, bathroom, office, kitchen, foyer and hallways. He also cut, stained and installed new windows and door trim. He replaced the baseboards which had to be custom routed, cut, stained and installed. He replaced ceiling fans, lighting, fixtures, and wall electrical plates. He replaced, stained and hung doors. He installed new bathroom tile and replaced the sink, vanity, and toilet. Tony was very careful in his purchasing of replacement materials to be sure that they were of the same high quality as the previous ones. He matched wood, stain and paint color and texture so exactly that it blends perfectly. It's hard to tell where the old leaves off and the new begins. There were numerous other little jobs that needed attention that he took care of without being asked. He didn't charge extra for the many things that he did that were above and beyond the "standard" work expected. Tony has his own very high standards that far exceed the norm!! Tony worked very well with the insurance adjuster who commented to me on Tony's reasonable prices and quality of work. Tony kept in constant contact with me, calling me throughout the entire project to keep me informed of the progress. He wouldn't make any big decisions without discussing them with me first. Once again, I am amazed at the high quality work done in a timely manner at such a reasonable price! Tony is a friendly, very professional and easy to work with person who prides himself in the highest quality work, satisfaction guaranteed. I would not hesitate to hire or recommend Tony again!!

I called and scheduled an appointment on a Monday to come give an estimate for the work we needed done. He never showed. Then he called Thursday of that week to follow-up with my initial phone call. I told him we had an appointment that he didn't show up for. He realized his mistake, said that he "forgot" becasue he was so busy.

They came quicker than I thought and the work was good. I had a person lined up who was a whole lot cheaper but he never showed up. Their price was about what I expected to pay. The quality appears to be very, very good.

Tony was very thorough and professional and fair in making an estimate. He returned the very next day to do the necessary work. At the completion of his work, he, himself wasn't satisfied with one particular repair so he scheduled a time to return and he completely removed his previous work, put a special sealant on the patch and returned to texture. When he was satisfied with his work he again asked for our evaluation. I was very satisfied and impressed by the extra time he took to make sure it was perfect. I highly recommend him!! I won't hesitate to call on Tony if I ever need any kind of work that he is able to do!!
