Joshua Williams(ASAP ROOFING) installed a membrane roof on my home in 2012. Shortly thereafter I had pieces of the material coming off. I notified Joshua of the problem and he advised me that he was sold the wrong tape by Menards and that he has the new tape on order and as soon as it comes in he will be out to repair. This excuse went on for months and in 2013 I had heavy water damage as a result of the improper application of this product. Joshua was aware of the resulting water damage and said he would be out to repair and bring his neighbor who was a handiman along to repair the water damage. Joshua never showed up and does not return my calls. I have reported him to the BBB and to the Attorney Generals Office. I have tracked down his insurance company at the time of the installation and they would potentially pay for the interior damage but Joshua will not return their calls either. The insurance company wlll not pay for the roof because it is a workmanship issue and it is not covered. So to avoid furthur damage to my home I have had to hire a qualified contractor to install a new roof at my expense. ASAP Roofing has stated on the BBB website that they would refund my money but I have not seen any money and so I am taking this to small claims court to recover my damages. I would say consumer beware if you use this contractor and you have issues you will be on your own even though their ad in the Gold Pages 2012-2013 addition phone book at the time states such he has not stood behind that. This has been a nightmare and I would not wish it on anyone so I wanted to put this out there for others so if you have a flat roof do not hire this contractor ...hire a QUALIFIED contractor for the job

Business owner Joshua is extremely responsive and professional in regard to his business. He visited us promptly to write an estimate, and was able to fit us into his schedule at our request on short notice. Joshua and crew arrived on time, were obviously efficient and knowledgable, were courteous and friendly, and left the jobsite clean. Our new roof is absolutely beautiful and Joshua's price was $900 less than the other estimate we received. We are thrilled with our experience with A.S.A.P. Roofing and wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Tom was great to work with in setting up the job, and he was present most of the time, however, his work crew was not professional. They complained about everything, including their working conditions. I provided the roofing materials, however, there was not enough materials to finish the job. Unfortunately, there may have been enough if not for so much waste by the crew. I found trim that had been stepped on, or somehow bent that was thrown away. Several bundles of shingles that had damaged corners, or were bent up, that were thrown away. Other purchased materials were used by the crew to build home-made tools for the job. I offered 2x6 lumber to them for footing material. A toe-board was thrown off the roof when the job was done, which hit the ground with one end, and the other end smashed a walk-through door threshold. Boards were left nailed onto one side of the building. Many shingles were damaged by careless handling. My overall impression of ASAP roofing was that they do not consider that each shingle, or piece of trim, etc, has a cost that is realized by the homeowner. I don't believe that this problem is limited to this company. Many contractors figure a significant amount of cost for waste materials. If construction materials are provided by the contractor, that waste is figured into the cost quoted to the homeowner. Contractor asked to be paid in cash.
