Jorgensen Deck Service & Contracting

Jorgensen built a front porch and pergola for me. I'm extremely happy with the result. High quality. Nice craftsmanship. Really solid and well built. When he was done I asked him to adjust a couple things to my preference and he did so willingly. Easy to work with, good communication, on budget. I would highly recommend. Thanks so much!

His name is Robert Jorgensen. His website is deceiving. He advertises he has 16 years of experience. This is not true. He has only had his Contractors license since 3/9/2021. He installed windows for an employer prior to that. He does not have any business background. He does not honor the quote he provides, even though we purchased all materials for him throughout each stage of the project. He apparently has no credit because he was not able to pay for any materials on his own. We had to front all the money as he went along. He did not comply with the Building Permit - he failed to call the City Inspector as required on the permit. When we seen things not looking like we thought they should, we called the Inspector ourselves. Inspector required him to re- do several things. This cost us more money for new materials., not to mention our time and our stress. His promised timeline of 2 weeks to completed project turned into 2 months. There is so much more, but too lengthy to put here. He is not yet skilled enough to be on his own. He is a good worker but needs to be working for someone who can oversee both the work and the business side of his projects. Hope this helps someone else.

He has excellent suggestions for improvement. He is efficient and is a perfectionist, if something isn't right he does it over! I would definitely recommend him and we already have asked us to do other repairs on our acreage and buildings.

Robert takes pride in his craftmanship, and rightly so. The finished product is beautiful and beautifully solid. My wife was very surprised to see the suggestions he made to improve on what we formerly had as a deck; and, when she's happy, I'm happy. I strongly recommend Jorgensen to anyone who is considering a new deck,

Robert did a fantastic job on our deck. He made sure that every thing was perfect. He staggered the boards on the floor of the deck and suggested that we use metal poles instead of wood for part of the railings. Over all he did a fantastic job and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE!!! Thank you so much Robert!
