After a bad storm in which we had a crab apple tree uprooted and the entire top of our maple tree snapped in half I contacted this company and requested that they come out and give me an estimate to remove the crab apple and tell me if the maple tree could be saved. I was told yes, they would remove the crab apple, save the maple and haul away the limbs for $225. I agreed and the work was completed by the next day, however it was not performed to my expectations. First, instead of hauling off the limbs the owner informed that the city would pick up the limbs and I was fine with that, only instead of leaving the limbs in the driveway between the garage and the garden (where other limbs were already stacked) he hauled them into the street to the point he shut our street down to a one lane road (for days). My neighbors were so upset that they were going to start hauling away the limbs that I paid this company to haul away. I was completely satisifed with the removal of the crab apple tree, however they did nothing with the maple except remove the (already) broken limbs. They left dead limbs up in the tree and did nothing to trim up the ragged tears in the tree. I expected the torn pieces, where the tree snapped in half to be cut smooth and maybe even some pruining paint applied? Now the rain and snow will settled into those ragged torn pieces and rot the tree from the inside out. There is another limb that is split that should have been removed, trimmed or somehow shored back up and it was just left as is. Had I known that they were not going to "fix" or trim up the tree where the limbs were literally torn off, I would not have hired them. Between that and the way they stacked the limbs in the STREET blocking the street for days I cannot, in good conscience recommend this company to anyone else.
