Twin City Construction

BEWARE, YOU MUST KNOW! We contracted Twin City Construction, LLC early July, 2022 to replace our roof (shingles), facia and replace some rotted plywood. The work was completed July 15, 2022 when we paid him (Jeff Storhaug from Twin City Construction, LLC) the remaining balance. The total bill was $28 300.00. Shortly thereafter we received a notice that a $11,801.12 lien was placed on our property by Builders First Source for non-payment for materials by Jeff Storhaug (Twin City Construction, LLC). We tried numerous times to contact Mr. Storhaug, but were unsuccessful. This debt has since been sent to collections and may negatively affect our good credit for which we have worked very hard to maintain. Prior to this was also our first time ever being debt free as we paid off ALL our debts only to have Jeff Storhaug of Twin City Construction, LLC dishonestly steal away our honest efforts. We have an attorney involved, but the point is, Jeff did not pay his materials provider, so now we are saddled with a debt from a bill we ALREADY PAID to Jeff Storhaug of Twin Cities Construction, LLC.

His workers installed shingles on house but not my shed, which was part of the job. He completed no other aspect of contract. His roofers left debris in lawn which ruined the impeller on a Bluebird HM200 lawn mower. He returned to job sight and absconded with the shingles which were ordered and were intended to complete the job. I’ve called him 23 times and received no answer. I did manage to reach him when I used different line to make contact. He told me he was waiting on parts on the two occasions I managed to speak with him. The contract was accepted on on June 9 2021. Today the date is October 2 2022. My new contractor called him five minutes after I made my last failed attempt, Storhaug answered on the third ring, so he’s screening calls and avoiding interaction with me. No effort has been made by Storhaug to return any of the money he received for the contract upon which he and Twin City Construction have defaulted. I’ve gone to the Lawrence County Sheriffs Police and filed a criminal complaint against Storhaug, it’s currently being reviewed by the Lawrence County States Attorney, John Fitzgerald. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE CURRENTLY UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR THEFT OF PROPERTY AND FRAUD.

The second after all the introduction was done. Twin City Construction's crow jump into action. without any word the crow start to work. I was really pleased on how professional the crow. Through the whole task the crow did not stop working. After they were finish the crow want me to see the excellent workmanship on my roof, I'm totally pleased with their work. I'll will have them back to work on my house again. I'll make sure if I hear on someone need rook repair or replacement. I'll recommend Twin City Construction for the job. Anything other projects they need done. I'll recommend they go through Angie's list for the projects.

They were really good, quick, easy to work with and they get the job done right.
