Dave was my tech I was very satisified he was prompt at working with me. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

Prairie Sons' ownership and business model is malicious and unprofessional. We did not even hire them for work, rather they came to the wrong house, entered our house while no one was home, uninstalled our dishwasher, and reinstalled a new machine (that we neither asked for nor gave them permission to install). Owner Frank Howe then insisted we pay for the service and machine. Howe then sent slanderous texts to my husband and filed in small claims court. We did not ask for our privacy to be violated, the appliance, or trouble that has ensued since, and Prairie Sons has caused my family unnecessary emotional distress - all over a $150 appliance. We knew better than to ever go to them for service, but their inexcusable mistake and course of action since have sealed the deal. Please seek out one of the many other credible plumbing/HVAC outfits in the area.

It was one of the hottest times of the year, and my old A/C and furnace from 1983 had outlived it's life. Ryan S. came and we discussed the right unit for my home. He helped with all the financing and all arrangements. Adam came and had the new system up and running the first day! Both of these gentleman were AWESOME! I can not thank them enough for all the help they gave me and my wife and for the professionalism they used. I HIGHLY recommend this company and I hope for their continued success in the community. Thanks again guys!!!!

They were prompt! That's the only good thing I can say. We called on a Sunday night, and they came out the next morning, December 19th. On that day, the guy was there about 1/2 an hour, checking a few things out. In the end though, he found nothing wrong, and just reset the rollout switch, and it fired up. 5 days later, it died again. They came out again, a different guy. The FIRST thing this guy said was how poor a job he thought the first guy normally did. Doesn't inspire confidence! He checked things out, did a few diagnostics, was there maybe a half an hour, tops. Same thing...said the rollout switch tripped, and all he did was reset it. Said he didn't recommend changing it, that "it happens". Fast forward 3 weeks. We get the bill. For the description of the work, this is the exact wording (only wording) on the bill: - Customer called with no heat - Found the roll-out switch had tripped. Fire unit and it started up and shut down correctly. Checked intake to exhaust for any obstructions. Found none. Checked temp rise and filter. The cost for this? $287. For an hour max of work, with no parts, no actual fixes, no change at all to my furnace other than pushing a roll-out switch to reset it. The price was ridiculous for what they did, but if it were just price, I wouldn't have probably reviewed them. When I got the bill, they also included a card (photo attached). It was a bunch of religious sayings, that ended with a cheery "Godly people are basically guaranteed to suffer", and "The worst is yet to come", punctuated by a plea to go to RepentOrPerish.org. I didn't ask for a sermon. I didn't ask to be told I'm going to ****. All I wanted was my furnace fixed. When I complained about the price, and the religious messages? I got more messages, including a cheer "Everyone will stand before him on the last day and need to make an account of their own life. That is a decision that only you can answer." PrairieSons may be great if you believe the 2nd coming is just around the corner and are looking for spiritual affirmation. If you want your furnace fixed? Be prepared 1) to pay a **** of a lot more than we've paid for other regional providers 2) get a stern religious lecture on why you're going to ****, and 3) hostile customer service when you bring up either #1 or #2.

He did not solder the copper together correctly which caused a leak into my basement. I called them to have them fix it and at first they tried to say that it wasn't their fault, that there was a leak somewhere else. When they did come they did accept responsibility and fixed the leak but refused to pay to have the ceiling in my basement dried. It was only $20 to rent a large fan to dry it out and they refused to even pay the money for that. They were not helpful at all.

Work was done promptly and had a couple of minor issues that arose after the install, company provided prompt service to correct the really small issues. All the work was done in a timely fashion. They also kept us informed as to all worked performed.

We turned a 3rd bedroom into a on-suite with walk-in closet and full bath. Work required installing all the plumbing. Company was great to work with. We were doing a lot of the remodel ourselves so Prairie Sons was great in working around our timeline. Would highly recommend these guys!

They were great in explaining our options for each unit and the pros and cons of the choices. They also were able to modify the previous piping/plumbing in the mechanical room so that it was better functioning and also better visually. And they cleaned up their work sites and the end of each day!
