+ 0 moreThe price was all tied up into the contract repayment. It is top of the line vinyl and they lay it on almost like you lay ceramic tile.

+ -1 moreI was willing to consider similar alternatives to the sample I'd brought, with some professional advice. Little was offered. While there was obviously a personality conflict between the salesman and I, his dismissal of us seemed wholly unwarranted. Alternate products/sales people could have been offered, instead. I was ready to buy, but Dakota Floors was unwilling to sell, for whatever reason.
Description of Work: Visited showroom to look over flooring options. Salesman became very defensive when I questioned his critical comments about bamboo flooring, a product they do not carry (I had brought a sample from another store to give an idea of what we were looking for). After a short conversation that I felt was a civil one, he declared that his store was "not the right one for us," he sent us away with the veiled, unspoken threat that his large dog would see us out if we did leave now, so we did.

+ -1 moreWe contacted dakota floors, looked at several samples of refinishing for the living room hardwood. We also decided on the flooring replacement for the kitchen and the bathroom. The sales people were friendly, and knowledgeable. They visited the home, measured the flooring, and sent a quote to us in short order. They made sure they could do the flooring in a single time frame, rather coming back 2 or 3 times to do get the job done. We knew the living room floor had a lot of issues, and they kept us informed of every issue they had. The living room floor turned out absolutely wonderful. The room was cleaned and could not find any wood dust anywhere in the house. We chose the oil rubbed finish, which really brings out the wood grain. The installers then installed the bathroom LVT flooring, which turned out to be better than what we expected it to look. The kitchen was also done in an LVT flooring that is really hard to distinguish from real wood. The installers even moved the appliances back into place for us, no charge. The fit and finish of the LVT flooring was impeccible. We are going to be selling this house in a few years, and we will definitely use Dakota Floors again without any hesitation.
Description of Work: Dakota Floors took an old, tired, stained and damaged living room hardwood floor and refinished it to an amazing transformation. They also installed LVT flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. The installers did an amazing job, extremely knowledgeable, courteous and outright genuinely nice guys. They were very respectful of our property, and very honest of any problems. We originally wanted to install flush mount vents, but after the installers looked at the flooring, they gave an honest assessment that the floor was too thin in that area to effectively put them in without compromising floor integrity.
