Our exterior coach light quit functioning the week or so before. The light was still under warranty so we exchanged. After installing the new light and it wouldn't work either, that's when we discovered the light and outlet directly below it were not receiving power at all. We checked all the breakers and everything else seemed to be fine so we decided to call an electrician. The gentleman that came went through everything we had already done. Though he did go through the breakers more thoroughly. Finally, he went up into the attic to follow the wire and discovered that the exterior light & outlet for some unknown reason are wired with the GFI outlet in our interior bathroom! All he had to do was push the reset button and everything was in working order again...incredible. He asked if he should go ahead and replace the worn exterior outlet which of course I said that would be fine. When all was said and done, he was at my home 2 to 2 1/2 hours tops. The part that bothered me was the bill. The technician turned in 3.5 hours. When I called the office, I was informed that it is customary to include driving time as labor. Ok, I can accept that. Even if you dilly-dallied as a driver it is only 15 minutes to their place of business. I think a little honesty and accountability is in order here. No one ever did call back as promised to explain the 3 1/2 hour labor charge.
Description of Work: Figured out why our exterior coach light and outlet were not receiving power to function. Simply pressed the reset button on the GFI outlet on the interior bathroom and WALA.....they worked again. Plus, replaced exterior outlet while there.

He did leave a couple things out, but came back and fixed them. I heard about him from a friend that I work with.
Description of Work: We had our panel changed to a bigger one because we installed 2 new water heaters.

They are very reasonable. They have wonderful guys who come out to do the work. They have always been wonderful. They are very personable.
Description of Work: They put a ceiling fan in for me. They put in a couple of electrical outlets for me. They have not done any recent work, but they have been helping me over a period of years.
