I had just sent a request for a ball park figure of what to expect for my project as I am in budgeting phase right now. Mike took the time to return a few texts and ended up asking if he could call so that he could explain the different options that we had. He gave his professional opinion. Although we are not ready do his part of the project, I guarantee that he will hear from me again when it is time. He didn't have to provide the service that he did but it was greatly appreciated.

The entire job from beginning to end was wonderful. Within a day or two of sending a request for a quote, I was contacted and had an appointment scheduled for Mike to come out and take a look at the current dirt path and size up the job. Mike went through every aspect of the job from what they do to prep the path, what to expect during the pouring of the concrete and what they do to after the pour (cutting in expansion joints). Mike made sure to explain what type of concrete he would use and which company would be supplying the concrete. There were no details spared and I was never left guessing throughout the process. I received the estimate for the job and that's what the job came in at. The job ended up using more concrete than was originally called for; partly because I asked to have the path wider in spots and partly because Mike determined that the path needed to be thicker in some spots. I received a call from Mike explaining why there was an overage and instead of dropping the full cost of the overage on me, he asked if splitting it was fair. I have never had a contractor take such an open and honest approach regarding money, and because of his explanation, it only added an additional $450 to the cost of the job. The path looks great and most importantly, my wife is happy. The crew was hard working and polite and cleaned up after themselves each day they were here. This was a very easy and enjoyable process for my wife and I to go through and I would highly recommend Concrete Solutions of the Carolinas to anyone looking to have concrete work done.

Mike (the owner) was amazing. From the very first phone call he was very responsive. He came to give us a quote and took us to job he had previously done so we could see the stamped concrete that he recommended for us. We were actually thinking we wanted something different but he gave us his thoughts and he was spot on with what we wanted. He got the job done in less then a week. He answered all the questions we had and had the best price. It was great working with him. The patio is beautiful.We couldn't be happier.

The short of it is, I reached out to Mike for a quote to pour 1000 sq. ft. of pool deck and 96 ft. of stamped concrete Coping. He asked me to send him some pictures of the project so I did. I followed up with two phone calls. It is now Saturday I have not heard from Mike via text or phone call. It’s very disappointing because this seems to be the normal across the board for almost anything in our area. In my best guess this would have been at least a $10,000 job or better, and based off of the work on his website it could have been a lot more if we could have just talk through the specifics. I’m sure this company is very busy based on how beautiful their work is, but at least a phone call or a text at the very least saying they are not interested, or they are too busy right now would be better than nothing at all. I have provided my rating based on initial customer experience. This is not based on work performed as I’m sure it is top notch!

They did a good job.

We had an outstanding experience. Mike (the owner) took care of everything, from the dirt work to the pouring to the stamping to the clean up. He and his crew showed up when he said they would and the work went exactly how he had described it. The process was easy for us. On his quote visit, he asked us how we planned to use the patio and what our preferences were. He actually took us to a job he had just finished so we could see his work first hand. He then gave us general pricing information based on how large the patio is to be, what stamping,coloring, edging, decorative stuff, etc. we planned to use. We agreed on what we wanted and he told us he would schedule us in. From the time work began to us using our new patio was just under a week. Because the slab is free form instead of just a big rectangle, they set up the forms and asked what we thought -- as opposed to painting it out and making us visualize. This helps a non-visual person like myself immensely. He made a special alcove for our grill and recommended stamps that would make the patio unique. We could not be happier with the finished product. The talent and artistry required to get the results that Concrete Solutions Of The Carolinas attained on our patio are evident as you watch the process. Mike is a real artist and I highly recommend this company. I really wish I could put pictures (or knew how to put pictures).

AFTER OBTAINING 3 QUOTES ON A GENERAL WHITE CONCRETE SIDEWALK, AND COMPARING THE PRICES I WENT WITH CONCRETE SOLUTIONS. THE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE WAS $250 FOR A STRAIGHT SIDEWALK TRIMMED WITH BRICK THAT I SUPPLIED - OR - AN EVEN LARGER WALKWAY WITH COLOR AND CONTOUR. SO VERY HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME. ENDED UP WITH 2 TO 3 INCHES DEEPER POURED CONCRETE, PLUS THEY TOOK INTO CONSIDERATION THE TREES CLOSE BY AND ALLOWED FOR MORE EXPANSION JOINTS. IN ADDITION VOLUNTEERED TO INSTALL CONDUIT FOR FUTURE INSTALLATION OF LANDSCAPE LIGHTING.

I hired Concrete Solutions to build me a stamped concrete patio. I was more than pleased with the result. They are excellent, very good at what they do and I would defintitely use again.

Gave Mike a call and he came right out. After showing Mike what I wanted done and he made some suggestions he gave me total price for the job. I accepted and scheduled for the next week. I wanted the old sidewalk removed and replaced larger. Also needed the driveway widened to give me more room backing my trailer in and also to help with the drainage that was washing across the driveway. Mike worked with me through the whole process to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. After the forms were in place Mike advised me it could be changed if not what I wanted. I was very pleased and told him to pour the concrete. A lot of dirt was moved and Mike washed and cleaned up when finished. Also did a little extra with the drainage under the sidewalk that he found needed to be done after the job was started with no extra charge. I had no idea how this project would come out, but I am beyond pleased. Mike went the extra mile to make me happy.

I was extremely pleased with the overall experience. Mike spent the time to explain the different options available and explain how the work needed to be completed. He then showed up at the time he promised, performed the work, and spent a good deal of time finishing the texture of the new concrete to match the existing texture. One thing they did that I thought was amazing was perform the work without disturbing an irrigation head inches away and without destroying the grass which was touching the driveway; magic how they did this. The work area was spotless after they finished. Very professional, no hassles, no problems of any kind, total piece of mind, the driveway is fixed and it looks great!
