Day of service, I was told the tech was unable to access the system due to a fence, which is 4' tall and unlocked. So he left. Late in the day the tech returned, I received a voice mail asking if I could meet the tech at the property. That's not an option for me on short notice and it had already been confirmed I was not needed on site. By the time I returned the call (15 mins) the tech had left and was already in another town. I was told "sorry" it is not possible for him to return he has other jobs. The way I see it, he left my place early, he should be done with those other jobs earlier than planned and he could return and finish my job - which he should have started in the first place. The property is not an impenetrable fortress. It's a simple ranch with the gas pack on the opposite side of the driveway, a small 4' fence with a gate at the sidewalk and no animals to deter a visitor. The excuse that the gas-pack is not accessible is a far cry from the truth. The empathy from the office personnel and offer to correct the situation was pitiful and non-existent... Sorry, would you like to wait longer?... maybe we'll be free next week. I cancelled the service call because they really didn't seem to care at all. That's not someone I want to do business with.

The diagnosed the problem when the a/c stopped working and replaced the capacitor. They did this very quickly and accurately! I haven't had a problem since. He came immediately following my call on a Saturday which I really appreciated!

Went amazing, technicians were on time and professional, did the estimate and came in much lower then the local chain vendors. Showed on time to do the work which was exceptional and installed was knowledgeable. Payment was not the front of the conversation, worksmenship was. I highly recommend them. They are the local's goto shop.

They were able to schedule to as quickly as they could and they completed it all in a day. Their price was fair. They send somebody to fix the drain too.

They did an oustanding job. They have very good follow-up service. If you live in York county they will come out for a next-day service. They came out and fixed a problem we had the next day.

The guy who came to install the new water heater was late. He also took about five hours to get the water heater in and hooked up. We had to have a leak fixed where he hooked up the water line. He also never showed us how to adjust it before he left.

I was very pleased with the conversion we had with them and the work that they did. I was especially happy with the overall price I had to pay for everything. The serviceman was very friendly and had no problem at all answering any of my questions. I like dealing with friendly people like that. He had our entire job done all in the same day. If you need any kind of work like this done in this area, I would be the first to tell you to call them first.

I have not noticed any difference in the way our furnace has worked since the lines were replaced, but our house is now current with the building codes. The man who worked on the gas lines was great about explaining everything he needed to do.

I must say that my experience was pretty original and average. There was nothing extravagant about this job at all. The man was done in a timely manner and he was very polite. The administrative office and the fellow workers are all very nice people. I have no complaints at all. Their pricing is reasonable and I have no complaints with that either.

The overall job these guys did for us was very acceptable by our standards. They really did a great job in making sure that everything was hooked up right and working perfectly before they left. It was a pleasure dealing with them personally. I was treated with a great deal of respect and all of my questions were addressed immediately. I thought that they were a little pricey but I think having a comfortable temperature in the winter and summer throughout the house was worth it.

Ironically, Browns Heating and Cooling is currently at my home doing more work for me! So, yes, I would use them again! They are a great company to work with. They genuinely care about their customers and they are more than respectful at all times. I can not recall what I would have paid for them to do the gas hook-up for my stove and grill because at the time we had so many other expenses with our remodeling project going on, but I will comment on the sheer fact that their prices are always fair and reasonable in my eyes. Brown's has been in business for many years and we have been using them since the father, who passed away, had originally started the business. They have a good semblance of morals, values, and ethics so I continue to give them my business.

Our gas fireplace has worked great since they replaced all of the gas lines that run to it. I was very surprised at how quickly they were able to come and fix it for us as we only had to wait a couple of days.
