Originally I was going to replace my tank type water with another tank type water heater. The contractor convinced my that a tankless water heater would serve me better even though it was slightly more expensive. The tankless type water heater can be installed on the outside of the house in this climate and thusly gets all gas combustion outside which is considered safer. Removal of the old tank went as planned. The new unit required rerouting of the water and gas lines to inside of the wall going outside. A new panel was installed to cover the rerouted pipes and the gas vent from the old water heater was covered and painted. All excess holes were covered and caulked. The work was complete the next day after I called. When completed, it appears as a very professional installation. Price was slightly higher than estimate, but was well worth the extra cost.

Overall it went great. Worked was 90% completed the day after my first call. Returned the next day to complete the concrete patch work. All work was completed within 2 days. All trash and old equipment was removed from the site. Trench was covered and leveled off. Price was slightly higher than estimate because of difficulty in finding and purchasing new concrete cover. Feel like we got a great job at a fair price.
