Accu-Brick Paving Systems

Very well. Estimate was accurate, workers were prompt, polite and worked steadily. Resulting patio is just what we wanted. Could not be more pleased with the quality. Highly recommend this company.

Install went well but company refused to honor 5 year warranty.

Today's receptionist was less than responsive in addressing herself as "only the receptionist." Unresponsive as an organization. Porr customer service.

Our property, a small four-acre farm, had previously shared a driveway with our neighbors, which was on their property. They informed us that they wanted to discontinue that arrangement forcing us to install a new driveway wholly on our property. We had previously had a mostly gravel drive terminating in cement at that house. The new route went in front of our home and necessitated the removal of our existing sidewalk leading to the front door. The total length of the new driveway was in excess of a 1000' from the existing concrete at our garage to our road frontage. We solicited several bids and looked at several different types of drives including concrete, asphalt, and pavers. In the end we decided against concrete due to the way it weathers and can crack and against asphalt due to the regular need for maintenance. We chose pavers for the portion in front of our home based on appearance and to add value to the home. We opted to use gravel to run out to the road due to cost. The team worked very quickly. The whole job, which was extensive and required substantial excavation was complete within one week. We were able to take advantage of some price breaks from the manufacturer to lower our cost. Our flexibility in being able to begin work immediately and to allow them to dump excess dirt on our property further reduced cost. We have been very pleased with the final product. We did want to have a small paver apron installed at the road before transitioning to gravel, but they essentially balked at that primarily because there were two natural gas access valves in the path. However, Accubrick sold us enough extra bricks that I was able to complete that work myself. That would be my only issue, but I think they were within their right to refuse work they were uncomfortable with.

It went well

We talked to several other provides before ending up with Accubrick. We felt strongly that they were the choice for us, and never regretted it. They weren't the cheapest, but were reasonable, and a long way short of what the most expensive person was pushing us towards. We spent a few weeks going back and forth with the design with Darcy, gave them a target date which they hit. during construction they moved quickly to avoid prolonging the disruption. I thought they listened well, let us design the features and layout that we wanted, while at the same time making good suggestions on how to achieve what we were after. We took most of the suggestions, and I'm glad we did. But I never felt pushed towards a specific choice There were a couple of small issues during construction, but they resolved these quickly and at no additional cost. We have been very happy with the results. My wife had said she wanted something that would draw a and quot;Wowand quot; from any first time visitor, and that's just what we got. Have had a couple of outside dinners, a wedding brunch and a couple of outside afternoon parties there. Every time has gone very well. It's a real pleaure to sit out there and just relax on a weekend morning

They were professional, courteous and quick to respond. There was a lot a lot of work that I was expecting. So we explained our ideas and they took the time to measure and show us what they could deliver. Upon making our decision, they offered a one year, interest-free loan for us to get the work started, which was cheaper than going to the bank for a loan and easier than piecing payments together. He explained that he had 5 people on his crew and what we can expect from them. He came out 3 days after we finalized the financial paperwork. They are in the process putting down over 2000 sq. feet of pavers. He is pulling up the driveway and walkway for the pavers. He estimates that it could be about 4 days to finish the job. I believe they will do a nice job, but with the bobcats going through the yard and all the concrete, I am waiting to see how things are going to be after the work is finished. Based on this experience so far, I would use this company again. Follow up report: We obtained 5 quotes before starting this project and decided to go with Accu-Brick because of the salesman Bill Wrights knowledge of the product, friendliness and professionalism. He also was able to offer 12 months interest free financing for part of the projects cost through a large home improvement store. We initially were only going to do the front yard but this allowed us to do the whole project and they were competitively priced. Bill had a large crew who worked extremely hard for 1 week to complete this project which was much more involved than we realized and it went like clockwork. He and the foreman Matt were easy to work with and accommodated changes to the project without objection. We were consulted about all aspects of the design and installation and when I wanted to make changes, Matt was extremely knowledgeable and agreeable to this. He offered ideas to enhance the beauty of the patterns and did everything possible to keep the area clean. They replaced as much sod as possible, ran ducting for our gutter downspouts under the walkways, graded areas for better water flow and left everything spotless. We were absolutely thrilled with the finished product and our neighbors and family thought it was beautiful. We know it has increased the value of our house and are so glad we did this.
