David came out for an estimate on the date which I requested, right on time with samples. Took measurements, and then gave me a complete education on solar control films on the market today. He has been installing them for 35 years and has used them all!! I was ready for him as well as I had done extensive online research and had gained a fair bit of knowledge prior to his arrival. I had narrowed done the many providers who would come to my area to three. The decision was made by which film they were wanting to install. David was the first company I had out as he had one of my two top film choices. After speaking with him about several of the different films, I was almost sure that I wanted to use him and Solor Guard True View, but still wanted to hear form the other two. After I had the three estimates, I found them to all come in within $300-400 in price. I chose David due to his knowledge and experience, as well as his honesty. He was very willing to spend the time with me, even saying that whomever I chose, he was happy to have the opportunity to give me a quote and share his time. He applied the three choices of film samples to my windows for me to view over the week at different times of the day. Of The two other companies, one told me I could "tape it up on the window" myself, and the other just left samples. Both of them saw David's films up on my Windows, so I was quite surprised they weren't anxious to put theirs up as well. Installation was another key in my decision. The other companies had an owner, a sales person, and installers. David does all his own installs. He did a marvelous job, no white line around edge of Windows which all the companies tell you is normal. The Windows look like they are tinted glass, not filmed. The view is intact and the glare gone and heat gain decreased by 60% due to the film I chose. You can choose films with 40-80% reduction depending on how you much light you want to retain. I still wanted plenty of light so am very happy with the 60%. Another thing to mention is that three of my windows are custom shapes, a circle, and two angled triangle shapes, which are 24 feet high! So this wasn't just a simple ground level installation ! While he was here I asked for an estimate for my downstairs Windows as well since I was so pleased. I will be doing them soon as well, and definitely using David again, I can't recommend him highly enough!

We have been extremely pleased with the job done. David was very professional. He gave me an estimate and worked with me on installation due to the fact my home is also a business. He came in, go the job done and explained to me the care for the tint.
Description of Work: David came out to look at my windows and make suggestions as to the amount of tint needed. He also explained to the girls in the office and ask their opinion. He left samples of tint for us to make a decision on.

. We knew we needed to do something with these windows. We contacted David Burton and he set up an app’t within 2 days. He came to our house and showed us the product he had to offer. The product is offered according to the percentage of light rays you wish to block. We chose the screening that blocks 80% of the light. We also had him cover two other winders on the same side of the house. David was very informative, and not at all pushy. He was very meticulous in cutting and fitting the product to the window glass. He was very courteous and friendly. Not only has the product blocked the solar rays, but it has left the kitchen cooler in the warmer months and warmer in the cooler months. Not only did we block the intense light, but we conserved on our utility costs.
Description of Work: The Service was performed by Sunscreen Glass Tinting. Included the application of a sheet of window material that would prohibit the penetration of solar rays. We had moved to SC from PA in May 2014. Our kitchen windows face east. The sun was so bright and blinding, it was difficult to sit at the table. The previous owner sat his table on a area rug. The penetration of the suns rays actually lightened the hardwood floor and you could actually see the outline of the rug.
