Provider was very reliable and on time. Work was performed as discussed and on time in the expected quality. Overall not cheap but still reasonable.

The service was ok. He replaced a wood seal on the door step. The advertisement for the deal showed a soffit that was rotted under a gutter which was what I had. He was unable to do it because it was too far off the ground. I had other work he could do and he did do a good job.

The provider did an excellent job. He fixed all of the problems and cleaned up his work areas. The fixed places look much better and are much less susceptible to problems than before. The provider was very professional, he arrived at the time expected, and he kept us informed before his arrival. We have already arranged for him to do additional work on our home.

Adam was great -- easy to work with, punctual and most importantly of all very skilled. I had a previous "carpenter" who was supposed to be hanging the luan and doing the molding, but the previous carpenter's skill level was not sufficient to complete the job effectively. Adam came to the rescue and fixed the problems left behind by the other person and in a short period of time created a lovely, finished look. I was so pleased with Adam's work, that I asked him to quote another job while he was here. When I get to that next project, I will certainly call Adam.

I had a door to my deck that was water damaged and needed replacing. Adam was quick to respond to my request on Angie's List. He was professional and courteous. He was very easy to work with from the first phone call. He showed up on time for the job and did an excellent job. I am completely satisfied with the door and flooring repairs he provided. His initial quote was within ballpark of the price of other contractors but his quick response, top notch skills and personality made him the right contractor for me. The project grew in scope from initial estimates when it was discovered that there was subfloor damage. Adam suggested a solution and bumped the price up, but this was acceptable due to discovery of deeper damage than initially known. The project was not cheap but I feel I got the best outcome possible at a reasonably good market price. I will definitely call Adam for future home repairs.

Everything went well. Adam was timely for our first appointment. I had waited for such a long time (since April) for an appointment, but it was well worth the wait. Adam Dutton is very personable and professional. What I liked the most was that he took interest in my home, and suggested other future enhancements when I asked his opinion. Considering this was a huge job,Adam was extremely professional and timely. We initially found Adam off of Angie's List, and within 3 days we were able to schedule our initial meeting, discuss the project, and began work shortly after. No matter the task (and we gave him A LOT of additional jobs) he was always eager to tackle the job and never tried to cheat us. If you are looking for a hard working, involved, and not to mention nice contractor, Affordable Carpentry by Design is definitely a great choice.

It went very well once the work could be schedules, he had a lot of business from the special promotion.

I purchased a Big Deal for 4 hours of carpentry services at the beginning of April. The first date that I was able to schedule the work was on July 3rd. I was glad that Adam was so personable and did such good work. He was able to finish 3 projects for me in the 4 hours that were included in the deal. i also discussed some future projects to get his opinion and rough estimates so that I could plan what I wanted to do next. Adam does great work!

Adam worked continuously and did an excellent job. We will definitely call him again as we have found some more areas that need his expertise.

Adam came in early. checked what materials he needed to do the job. We got the materials and he did an excellent job within the time frame available. We are very satisfied with the quality of work and his work ethic. We will keep his company in mind for any future work we might need.

I was not able to get an appointment right away. By the time the appointment time came around, we had sold our house to a builder who was not interested in exterior carpentry services.

I purchased deal on 4/5 and first date that contractor could come was on 6/23. When he arrived, I requested a proposal for wood repair. The proposal was unacceptable to me. I asked what work could be done for the $149. Contractor indicated that maybe bay window repairs but he did not seem interested in doing it.

Adam did an excellent job on the wood restoration of my parent's house. I could not have ask for a better person than him. Adam was on time and very professional in his work. Adman shows care and pride in his work and makes sure the customer is satisfied. One of my neighbors saw the work Adam did and wants him to look at the house .

It did not go well because the provider stated the gutters had to be removed before he could do the work

Adam arrived right on time, and listened to what our issue was, looked over the areas of concern and made suggestions that would solve the problems and not cost us an arm and a leg. We had received several other bids to do the work for three times the amount. We would have them come back in a second if another problem occurred and are already recommending Adam to anyone that was looking for wood rot restoration. Very pleased with his work for us.

Adam was very professional in scheduling the job, showed up when he said he was going to and did a great job. He had all the tools and equipment needed, and I would highly recommend him.

So far, the company has been responsive and we have work planned for 6/14.

Very professional. Very good communication and reliable. Scheduled the date long time ago. Often contractor reschedule appointment made long time ago as other jobs overrun. Not this one. Work performed professional. Explained very good what has been done and also what should get done to avoid further damage. Will for sure use again.

Did an excellent job considering it was outside and very high up. The conditions were very difficult to work under.

Adam came at scheduled day and time--did the work in a timely manner replacing rotten main brace and trim piece on one side and trim on the opposite side of the garage door--replaced two window seals and trim, primed and painted all the pieces. After he finished you could not tell that he had even been there, did not leave a piece of trash or sawdust. Very reasonable--would not hesitate to use his service again.

I thought that they were very professional and they seemed to be honest. They did a good job and I thought that their price was fair. I was very satisfied and I would use them again.

Showed up on time, completed what I asked for. Nice job. Will have them come back for more work on the back porch. Highly recommend.

I called Adam on 4/30/14 to see about getting a bid on some work done on my house. When I called he said he was driving and would get back to me when he got to a stopping point. Well he never called back. Five day's later I got an email from Adam saying he would still like to give me an estimate so I called him and told him I was off on wednesday 05/07/14 and should be home from 1pm on. He said to call him wednesday when I get home so he could come by. On wednesday I called Adam at 9am and told him I would be home all day so he could come by anytime. Adam said he was swamped but would have his sale rep call me later that day. Well it's now 5/12/14 and I have still not heard from anyone. Very unprofessional !!
