Adam and his crew did an excellent job and was great to work with. Clean up was fantastic wouldn't known they were even here. I would recomend Affordable Home Precepts without reservation.

The project went great from start to finish

The quality of craftmanship was stellar and the customer service exceptional. Adam even came back on his own (after he was paid in full and of his own initiative) to fix some of the original trim that was installed poorly by the previous owners, just because he wanted to be kind. Can't recommend this crew more highly.

I thought I wanted to have a deck made over my unused gunite pool. Adam's ingenuity made me realize the best option would be to remove the existing concrete deck and fill it in. His crew worked rain or shine to haul in dirt, fill in the pool, level my yard then cover it in pine straw. They even did extra landscaping in front of my house! This company went over and above my expectations.

We set up a consultation to go over the needed projects for my home. Communications with this contractor went smoother than with anyone else who has worked on my house. Adam helped me prioritize the projects because I could not afford to have everything done at once. We set an appointment for first project. The crew was prompt, professional, finished the project in a single day and left the area clean of debris. They even cleared some non-project debris for me at no extra charge! I will definitely be contacting them for the other projects I want done on my home.

Adam replied promptly to our telephone call and came out to our house the next day to look over the project. He listened to our requirements, gave helpful suggestions, and a time line for the project. He also gave us a reasonable quote for the job and said he could begin work immediately. The next day Adam and his crew began the job and they finished with a week. Adam and his crew took great pride in their work. They communicated with us and worked in a professional manner. Adam was always on the job and kept us informed of his progress. Adam is an excellent carpenter and painter and we were very pleased with the quality of his work and are happy to recommend him to anyone.

Excellent, Adam was present and aware of project progress from start to finish. Replaced rotted woodwork around front of the house, repainted all wood/trim/columns, repainted all exterior window frames on original window work and power washed the house.

Came and reviewed project. Said I would have an estimate in 2 days. Thats been 3 weeks and have not heard from him.

Adam is great to work with. He takes the time to explain the work so that you understand exactly what you are paying for. I trapped him in a conversation at the house for a couple of hours during our initial consultation, picking his brain about subsequent projects, and he couldn't have been more gracious and helpful. The scope of this project (exterior mostly: wood rot repair, siding and shingle replacement, flashing, painting) was handled on-time, on-budget, and was of excellent quality. Adam committed to a deadline and worked through the pouring rain to ensure that it was met. On the last day of work, it was discovered that the hardware store had incorrectly color-matched the paint a shade lighter than the rest of the siding on the house. Rather than leave good enough alone, Adam made another trip to the hardware store, ate the cost of another bucket of paint, and finished late that evening with a color that blends in perfectly. That's the kind of contractor that I want: someone that will get the job done right, even if it means taking the time to fix a mistake. I would (and probably will) use Affordable Home Concepts again in the future.

The entire process went flawlessly. Adam came to my home on time and on the day we had set to look at the job and give me an estimate. He was great! Adam explained exactly what was happening and why he felt it was happening. He then looked at the project and gave me a detailed plan as to what he felt it was going to take to correct the problem. He was able to give me a quote on the spot and told me he would send me a written quote via e mail. I got the quote and sent him the 50% deposit required. We talked and set a start day and time. Once again Adam was prompt. He said the job would take 2 to 3 days and he finished it in 2. His work was excellent and the crew cleaned up and left the area as it was before he started. Adam did all the finishing work except the painting (he does painting, but I said I would do it). It is refreshing to find a craftsman that does what he says he will do for the price he says he will do it and does great work, Adam and Affordable Home Concepts is one.

I couldn't be happier with how well this repair went. Adam showed up at the agreed-upon time and we had a good chat talking about what needed to be done, and he gave me a variety of material choices and options. Within minutes he was hard at work and before long, what was an ugly eyesore was gleaming with clean lines and fresh paint. I have a lot of other work that needs to be done and am so glad to have found a reliable and talented person to do it. I'm looking forward to hiring him again in the future.

Adam and his crew did a great job. Everyone was courteous and polite, efficient, and timely. Workers showed up on time each day. They cleaned up and hauled away all the mess. They answered all our questions and addressed any concerns we had along the way. Adam himself was very patient with us during the estimate process and was good about trying to come up with alternatives to help us save some money. If I had to list one negative, it would be that they used nails instead of screws to secure the deck floor boards, but it was not something that we ever discussed, so I guess he didn't know we would have preferred that. (Seems like most companies use screws - to prevent nails from popping out as the wood expands/contracts, but we understand that a nail gun is much faster/easier to use.) In the end, though, we are very happy with our new deck and would definitely hire Adam again.

Adam showed up on time, surveyed the work needed, and gave me a fair estimate of the cost. He went to work right away and finished the job the next day. The repairs were very satisfactory. I would definetly use Affordable Home Concepts again.

It went great; he got everything done efficiently. He was very conscientious, and he even took the extra time to put a coat of paint down so that the wood wasn't exposed to the elements. We would recommend him to anyone. Adam did a wonderful job!

Adam came out and listened to my project idea and then worked with me to come up with a solution that would satisfy our budget and expectations. Work began the same week as I obtained HOA Approval. Adam and his crew made significant progress each day and even worked much later than normal on the Saturday before Easter so the roof would be finished to protect the exposed wood and door below. Work continued the following Monday and each day after the porch took form as the small details began to get done. My wife wanted craftsman style columns and Adam and Drew crafted a solution that looks great and was exactly what she wanted. The project spanned the expected timeframe and looks great. I definitely recommend Affordable Home Concepts LLC to handle your home improvement needs.

We were extremely pleased with the excellent job he did. The repair is actually better than the original, but blends seamlessly with it. He also was punctual, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with.

If I had to use one word for this review it would be outstanding. Adam and his crew are very professional, and Adam gives you daily updates of the job they did. He also comes by daily to see the progress. Adam did a complete barroom install in my basement, including plumbing,sump pump,tile, and all finish work. I would highly recommend Affordable Home Concepts for your next remodeling job. Project went very well. Adam explained what he would do to fix the problems. I wanted to use PVC to replace the rotten fascia and soffit boards. Adam recommended using Hardy plank because PVC lumber has expansion problems that cause open and loose joints as the seasons change. Good advice from Adam. Repairs look great. You cannot tell any work had been done. The crew doing the work were very polite and they work non stop until the work was done. Cleaned up afterwards. I feal that Adam gave me a fair price for the work needed. I will definetly use him again.

"Treating the job as if it were being done on his own home." That is how Adam Dutton owner of Affordable Home Concepts, LLC handled our deck renovation. Our deck was built over 12 years ago. It is a very large deck. After careful evaluation, Adam advised that at the time the deck was built it conformed to existing codes, but would not pass inspection today. Adam explained in detail the necessary structural changes to bring it up to code and make it safe. He and his crew were skillful and meticulous. As the work progressed, Adam reimbursed us for one of the line items that he found to be unnecessary. The new trek railing system makes our deck look brand new. We couldn't be happier. Honesty, integrity and skill are not easy to find today. We look forward to working with Adam on other projects we are planning.

I was very satisfied with the progress and the quality of the work. The crew consisted of men who as far as I could tell had all been with Adam for years and were skilled in their craft. When Adam was not on site he stayed in touch with me and there was no slowing of progress. When I need something else done Affordable Home Concepts will be my first call.

First let me start off by saying... It is not always easy to search for contractors to do work on your home. And whenever you have to rely upon reviews and ratings of that contractor, your heart beats faster and faster because you know nothing about his/her work ethic and you're shooting in the dark on making the final selection. These reviews can make or break your decision to contact that contractor. Therefore, I am writing this review to give the next customer a good perspective on what they should expect from Affordable Home Concepts, LLC (Contact: Adam: 678-231-3229). By the way, I am an Engineer by training so forgive me for the lengthy details and bad spelling! LOL! I first contacted Adam back in September of 2015 to come out and access the health of my patio because previously I had a painting company to come out to provide a quote to re-stain my deck because it was just plain ugly! While that painting contractor was there to provide a cost to re-stain it, they pointed out that I need to replace a few boards and hand railing boards. They thought this was an immediate need before staining it. So I said, screw that!! I need a REAL deck contractor to tell me how to proceed in restoring my ugly deck. Called Adam in for the estimate and walk-thru. Adam answered the phone and promised to meet me on about October 1st. Which was about 2 weeks later from the day I 1st called him. I'm thinking... Dang! I wanted a guy here tomorrow to give me pricing... NOT 2 more weeks from now! But I stuck with Adam because he was located near Buford GA and had an Angie's ribbon, with great reviews (hence the importance of writing this review). Plus he explained that he is building his personal home for his family and things were a little busy. So I?m thinking? If this guy is building his wife?s dream home, then I am certain that he can build my deck properly. (By the way, you should see photos of his home! You will be amazed at this guy?s talent? Trust me) Finally Adam comes 2 weeks later as planned. Adam tells me outright, "your deck needs some TLC. We can do this in an economical way OR we can do it the right way". He said, ?Your neighborhood is beautiful and it could use a home with a beautiful deck. Why not make your deck beautiful to compliment your neighborhood"? I'm thinking... I like that idea but HOW MUCH?! Adam tells me $10,500. Now, don't panic people!! I have a huge deck that's about 15' W x 35' L and stands about 13' H. Big deck equals big bucks with all new railing, metal pickets, all new flooring and support boards, with copper top housing on each post, everything upgraded to new coding and standards, 2 coats of weather resistant stain, new riser faces on 15 steps, new steps, new stringers, painting underneath the decking, and great laughs and conversations. But regardless, I went with the full ride, not the cheap ride. I could have selected the cheaper option but it wouldn't have made me happy. EVERYBODY LOVES MY DECK!! IT IS FREAKING AWESOME MAN! I WISH YOU COULD SEE THIS THING! Ask Adam for pictures. If you are on the fence about using Adam and his crew, I hope you can experience the craftsmanship that I have displayed on my deck. Call Adam man! This guy is genuine. He is awesome.

Adam Dutton and his crew did a good job getting rid of our decrepit old deck and replacing it with a sturdy, really good-looking deck. There were some issues with getting the deck to pass inspection by City of Dunwoody, but Adam worked with us and the inspectors to get the issues resolved.

Adam didn't show or call saying he couldn't make it! I called on August 20 and he said his first appointment would be September 1st. Since he had such good reviews here on Angie's List, we decided to put our kitchen remodel off for a few weeks until we could meet with him. He didn't show for our meeting in which my wife and I had rearranged our work schedules to make happen. We also have two babies under the age of 1 and arranging for their care for the meeting is no small feat. I called 30 minutes after our planned appointment time and he seemed truly sorry, that he should have called to tell us he couldn't make it. He wanted another chance--but we can't chance him tearing our kitchen apart and then not showing back up. I'm sure he does great work--wish we could have had the chance to find our ourselves.
