 + 1 moreIt was good. He was very prompt when he said he would be here. We are probably not going to go with him because his bid was a lot higher and the explanation of the work that he's going to do wasn't done as thoroughly as the other person that we got an estimate from.
Description of Work: Lucas Construction came out and got all of his stuff here to measure and to give the estimate for remodeling our kitchen, putting in hardwood and redoing the deck and back porch.

 + 4 moreThey did a great job and they've going to come back out later this month for another part of the job. They were very confident and had creative ideas. He stuck to his estimate. Any additions we added he clearly documented and reviewed with us in advance of billing us so we knew what we were paying. We got a very detailed bid from him. He's obviously licensed. Going through the punch list at the conclusion, there were minor fixes and they were done with that without any problem. We called him back on 2-3 occasions when we found additional things, nothing major, but he took care of everything with no questions asked and no additional charge. We know people who have used him based on our recommendation. They weren't the lowest or highest price, they came in where they said - it was very accurate.
Description of Work: Lucas Construction is doing a big remodeling job for us. It involves a kitchen, electrical and plumbing upgrade, renovations, a master bath enlargement, siding, carport over the garage and a whole lot of stuff.
