Melvin and his team did above and beyond what he promised. I can't thank them enough for the great service they provided. This was a very big clean out and every last item was taken out of our property. If you are looking for great service at a reasonable price LRS is the right company for the job.

The move was a very positive experience from start to finish. We did our initial due diligence by getting pricing and reviews from four local movers. Two of the movers were obtained from Craig's list (including LRS) and two were well known franchisees of national organizations. All companies came out to the location in order to provide an accurate quote. We would do the packing and LRS would perform the move although LRS was to also disassemble some items such as warehouse shelving. The range of pricing was $580 to $1300; LRS was the low bidder and also had positive - and no negative - reviews. The next lowest bidder was $800. One Craigslist and one "national" company were the two high bidders. At the initial meeting, Melvin was prompt and courteous and gave an impression that his organization was capable and would do a good job. This was a concern given the low cost. Prior to the move, Melvin responded quickly to all questions and on the day of the move, he and his team arrived 15 min. early. Long story short, he and his team (2 other guys) were all professional and worked consistently all day. They made the move in the same time that it took for previous mover to move us from a 2,000 sq. ft. location. About 50 to 75% more stuff in the same time frame. Some of the furniture was extremely heavy and arkward shapes but they handled it well. Full disclosure - of the approximate 500 items moved, there were were a couple of broken pieces (plastic wheels) and a few scratches but nothing broken or damaged in any way. As for the few furniture scratches, all can be covered with markers. The old adage is that 3 moves is equivalent to a fire (in terms of damage). In that regard, I cannot tell that we had a move. So, I was extremely pleased and would encourage you to check these guys before making a decision.
