Gutter Concepts of SC

Long story short, I scheduled an estimate and install with a Lowe's contractor. I assumed they'd be upfront with pricing and scheduling but they failed on both accounts as they couldn't provide the cost of parts and labor nor could they follow through with the date they scheduled me in for. Using HomeAvisor put me in contact with some really awesome people. Being that my time had been waisted waiting on Lowe's, Gutter Concepts gave me a clean and fair estimate on Thursday and literally had the job scheduled and finished by Friday. AJ even provided extra assurance that should I have any issues moving forward I could contact him personally. So,thank you GC/Ellie/AJ for being quick, efficient and reliable.

Ellie came when scheduled for estimate and beat a competitor by $250. She and her dad responded to my many follow up questions cheerfully within a reasonable time while I was pondering my choice. I was even given a discount for scheduling the next week early (another $50 to total $300 off from the competitor.). Bryan and Darrell arrived as scheduled and worked very diligently, extremely knowledgeable about their project. I watched for most of the project and was amazed at the rapid progress. They were friendly, again answering my questions as they progressed. Bryan even cleaned out an 8-10' existing gutter section over my covered deck at no extra charge when the project was completed. I would use them again and would recommend them to my friends. Good people!

After waiting 6 weeks for another guttering company to schedule our installation we canceled and got Gutter concepts name from HomeAdvisor. They were cheaper in price for the same gutter. They scheduled me the next week and called to see if we would like the job done a day earlier. We said yes and the showed on time, did great work and did a few minor repairs (for a fee) on some existing gutters. They were courteous and worked quickly. We would highly recommend them.

Ellie came and gave us a quote, but after the job was done , they tried to charge $500 more and tried to eliminate one down spout. I objected and finally they put in the other down spout. They charged me for 5 downspouts and there was only four. We had to argue with them about the bill.

They were very prompt in returning calls and arrived when they said they would. We noticed a problem with one of the downspouts the first time it rained so we called and they were very polite and quickly came out and took care of the problem.

Had an agreement with the person who came to the house. They had to change the appointment date because of an internal double booking. Offered us a $100 discount for doing so that we accepted. On the day of the appointment, they were late due to wrong directions given by the other associate. When they got to the house,they did not come to the door, did not introduce themselves, just started working, because they wanted to finish before it got too hot. Job was well done but person doing the job did not take the $100 off the final bill because he said he was unaware of this arrangement and that this was a big job. Left a negative taste.
