Kevin took about 6 weeks on weekends to get the job done and did an excellent job on 90 percent of the job. Had a zone that was missed in the original quote(our fault) and a problem with one of the installed lights. Kevin came right out, took the faulty light out quoted the new zone and took an advance deposit for the equipment needed to do the new zone. After several texts promising to be here next weekend to finish, it had now been a month and he has gone silent. Asked him to come back and fix or give us the equipment he purchased to allow us to have someone else to do it. No response to calls or texts in the last 3 weeks. Sorry he did not finish the job. So close.

Kevin Gunter, the owner, came to my home and checked my wiring in response to having several lamps short out. After the visit, he was paid and also received a down payment so that he could obtain fixtures that he was to install. After that, he rescheduled several times and twice failed to show up without any contact at all. He was unresponsive to phone calls, texts, emails. I did not get the work done and he didn't respond to requests for a refund. He had done work for me before without problems when his father owned the business, and at that time the work was done well at a reasonable price. This was disappointing to say the least; very unprofessional. I gave him every opportunity to rectify the situation, but ultimately he swindled me out of my payment. I filed a complaint with BBB and apparently there was no response to this either.

Gunter Electric received a down payment of $150.00. They became unresponsive to my calls and texts and never performed the work.

Kevin Gunter is the electrician. He is an independent electrician and he does electrical work. He did a good job. He did it in a day that he said he would do it. The pricing was good.
