I continue to use Detailed Excellence services. This company strives to have satisfied customers and they meet the challenge. If you ever have any problems, call Sandra who is fantastic. She truly cares about her customers and works to make sure they are happy every time they clean your home. I am very pleased with my ongoing service. It's easy to give an overall good grade for one time using a company...but after continued service, an "A" is a true compliment. The ladies that come to my home are really good at making my home sparkle and they are so pleasant. They are even wonderful with your pets. It's so nice to come home to a Clean home. My plans are to use this company over and over. Thanks!

"I was a little confused reading the review...... You stated that we were very professional, then gave us a C on professionalism. When we first received the call that you were not happy with the quality, Sandra immediately went to you home, prepared to correct the issue. Not only could she not complete the " REDO" but was rushed out of your home before she could thoroughly inspect the work previously completed. From my understanding, the product we used was more of the issue than the quality of work done. ( Granted ,there were a few things that were " missed", however you were stating that the cabinets were "sticky") We offered numerous times to send someone out to correct the areas that were " missed" however you told us that you were not " ready" for us to come back, ( I am not certain what that meant...Your first clean was on May 27th, and we could not return until the afternoon of June 6th) Our policy is that we will come out the same day, or following day to correct the issue, however because I strive for 100% customer satisfaction, we were more than happy to accommodate your request. I am truly sorry that you were not happy with the cleaning, we did however offer a free clean for your inconvenience. That offer stands if you decide in the future that you would like to give us another chance. Thank you, Dawn Warren"

They did an excellent job both times from scrubbing base boards, blinds, window sills, etc. We have been using cleaning services for the past 3 years and they are by far the most professional and thorough. The fist 2 cleanings were a higher price due to the deep clean. The rate going forward is $78.00.
We couldn't be happier!

Dawn called the day before and let me know the time the cleaners would arrive. Upon arrival, they went to work and each of the three had her own special chores to accomplish. They were a "well-oiled" team!!! This was the first cleaning. The second was again preceded by a call letting me know when to expect the cleaners. Mid-visit, Dawn's business partner arrived to redo the super-tall cabinets that the girls were unable to reach. She then proceeded to further instruct the girls as well as taking over a few miscellaneous chores. All the woodwork was wiped down as well as all the baseboards in addition to all the usual jobs expected in a thorough cleaning. I have had cleaning services in the past, but none so competent and thorough as Detailed Excellence. I am very happy with this service and would recommend them to anyone!

Very, very disapppointed in the work. The list of things didn't do is lengthy. The owner said she would call me on Monday to set up a date when they would return to do what they left undone. She did not call but she did manage to deposit my check.

"[Member name removed], With all due respect to you, and fairness to me and my company, the team of 3 girls arrived at your home on June 13,2014 at 11:00 a.m.. Upon arrival the team leader contacted me and advised me that the temperature upstairs was 103 degrees and the temperature downstairs was 84 degrees . It clearly states on the paperwork we went over that we DO NOT clean in temperatures over 79 degrees. At that point I contacted you IMMEDIATELY and left a message stating that we could NOT clean the upstairs, however AGAINST MY POLICY I advised the team to clean the downstairs which consists of Living room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Master Bedroom , Master Bathroom & Powder Room. My 3 girls spent over 3.5 hours in the downstairs only. They were working around " CLUTTER" and " PET EXCREMENT" that we had discussed during the estimate, at which time you ASSURED me would be taken care of and cleaned up before we came to clean. When you returned my call you advised me the you ' COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD" and the team had " DONE A GREAT JOB" in the areas that were cleaned. You advised me that you did NOT have your calendar in front of you and needed to call me on Monday to set up a time when the team could return to complete the upstairs. I never heard from you, until I contacted you to remind you of your 2nd clean, at which time you advised me that you were terminating service because of the cost. I did deposit the check, there was NOTHING discussed asking me not to. I am more than willing to have the team come back out and clean the upstairs ( the upstairs ONLY, providing the temperature is under 79 degrees) as per our agreement . I strive for 100% customer satisfaction, and am willing to do most anything to make this right. Our reputation speaks for itself as anyone reading the reviews can clearly see. Towards the end of the cleaning, the owners came and did a check to see if everything was properly done. The girls were made to redo the stairs. Just goes to show you that the owners expect nothing but the best for their customers and train their girls to do it the way they expect it to be done. Thank you all for the extra effort. Those stairs are a bugger! I also would like to thank you for the extra attention to my kitchen cabinet doors :-)

Ok, I give up. I've checked every spot I thought they might miss cleaning today....nothing...my house is clean! I read the reviews then I met the owner Dawn yesterday. Today two ladies and Dawn came over to clean. When they left I kept walking around looking but could not find any dirt, no spots...just a clean house. It feels so good . I had planned on one cleaning but after talking to Dawn, I went to every 3 weeks as her rates are very reasonable. . The first two visits are around 25.00 more then after the two thorough cleaning, the price goes down. I was amazed Dawn recommended once every four weeks but I wanted every three weeks. She does not suggest you use her services more than you need. She does a walk thru and I'm sure she evaluates how often she feels you need her services. Then she tells you how often she thinks you need your house cleaned if you want to be consistent. Or they will clean one time thoroughly . Whatever your needs are. Dawn is such a nice person. It's very obvious she is a warm, caring person. It shines through in the way she communicates. I don't think I'll be cleaning my house on my days off anymore. . Thanks Dawn....your ladies did a fantastic job!

It could not have gone better! When my wife and I decided we needed help cleaning our house, I went to Angie's List and called the top two services listed after reviewing all of the housecleaning services on the list. Dawn at DECS answered my call immediately and made an appointment to visit us the next day to see our house and present a proposal for cleaning. My call to the second service went to an answering machine, and she returned my call that evening when I was unavailable. My call the next day again went to an answering machine, and she returned my call two days later, again when I was unavailable. By then we had decided to work with Dawn at DECS.
Dawn came for her initial visit right on time, toured our house and talked with us about what we were expecting, our lifestyle, etc., to determine what frequency of cleaning would work best for us. She presented a proposal with options and recommended a level of service that seemed appropriate, or perhaps even conservative. She could have pushed for much more frequent cleaning, but she did not. She assessed our situation and made a proposal based on what seemed best for us. After Dawn left, my wife and I took less than 5 minutes to decide to work with Dawn.
When we called Dawn to let her know our decision, she was driving and did not pick up, but returned our call within a few minutes. We made a cleaning appointment for the next Monday. Her workers (Rebekah and Terriana) showed up on time with all they tools and supplies they needed for cleaning. After short introductions, they went right to work and spent 5 hours cleaning like our house has never been cleaned before. As prescribed, they concentrated on the kitchen, baths and laundry areas. They took toothbrushes to the grout and thoroughly cleaned everything! When they were finished, the bathrooms were sparkling clean and the kitchen was spotless. In the rest of the house, every room was inspected for and cleaned of cobwebs, surfaces were dusted and cleaned and the floors swept and wet-mopped.
We are both impressed with the hard work put in by Rebekah and Terriana, their pleasant personalities, their professionalism and the finished job. We are delighted to have a clean house and look forward to having them back.

Excellent. We used other services there's have been best. The best thing was coming home to a clean house BUT the house smelled cleaned! They are completely thorough. We are on the bi-weekly plan now. You will not be disappointed!

I have schedule them for biweekly service and so far it is going well. A few items missed but nothing major. They have been prompt and so far I am satisfied with their services. Pricing is a higher than I am used to paying however, I have also had difficulty finding a service that actually knew what house keeping meant. I do recommend these folks.

We both have allergies, so dust accumulation and pet dander can be a real hazard. We know that it's time for a cleaning, about the time that one of us (usually me) finds ourselves in a sneezing fit. We both work a lot of hours so finding the time to keep our house's cleanliness level under control was getting harder and harder. Dawn, the owner, came by one morning and gave us the initial estimate. The next week we were on their schedule and now we're having them come every week. It's definitely one of the best decisions we've made for ourselves for some time now and I think we're sticking with this company for a while.
