I am truly sorry that you feel you had an overall bad experience. We strive EXTREMELY HARD to ALWAYS be professional to ALL of our customers, and I am very confident in saying that EVERY single one of our girls has the highest standards in cleaning as well as professionalism up to and including management and owners. 2 of the 3 girls that were in your home are very quiet and soft spoken neither of which would ever disrespect anyone, especially a customer. The 3rd person in your home was my business partner, and I can assure you that there isn't a nasty bone in her body! During the estimate, I handed you and your wife my folder with our sales brochure and stated.... This is some information about our company, it's a who we are and what we do, it outlines what you can expect from us and what we expect of you....Upon arrival the team called me to advise me that the temperature in your home was 85 degrees, (On the 2nd page, 3rd paragraph down it clearly states that we cannot clean in temperatures above 79 for the safety of our team members. House cleaning is very physically demanding work! I did advise the team to clean anyway because this was your 1st clean with us and I wanted both you and your wife to have a GREAT first experience! The second issue we ran into was that throughout the clean the little boy that was in the home would take the teams equipment, IE: cleaning products, hand held vacuum, brushes and sponges, and hide them. The team continuously had to leave the task they were on and “hunt for" their equipment and supplies! I believe wholeheartedly that sometimes there is a very common misconception when someone hires a company to clean their home. When people have “neglected” cleaning their homes for any length of time it is not always going to come out in 1 clean. We are house cleaners, not miracle workers and sometimes it may take several cleans to remove the “build up" if you will. As far as being in your home for 7 hours, my teams ARE NEVER PERMITTED to leave before a clean is completed! This company prides itself on living up to our name “DETAILED EXCELLENCE"...... During the estimate I always tell everyone that the first 2 cleans take longer due to us “DEEP CLEANING" your home. We have NO WAY of knowing how long a 1st or 2nd clean is going to take. It is dependent on what condition the home is in. We individually hand clean each slat on each blind as high as we can reach, if you have many windows with blinds this can be very time consuming. The team uses tooth brushes to clean your faucets, fixtures & drains, we use a scrub brush on every inch of your tile, and again, this does take time. I have never permitted anyone that works for me to “RUSH” through a clean just to get done quickly! I would rather the team take their time and clean the home the right way than have you be unsatisfied with the quality of our work. My business partner called to remind you of your clean scheduled for 9/4 and you asked to speak with me, yelling at her saying that you knew nothing about anyone else that you only knew about me. I did not give you the structure of my business, nor the "chain of command" per se, because you never asked about it. I have had customers ask me my title, and how many people work for me before; I have never had any issue giving any information about this business. My customers have to be able to trust who is in their homes, especially while they are not home. I have never had any issue in giving proof of liability insurance; this company is licensed, bonded and insured. EVERY single person that is on the payroll here is "HAND" selected, I have never, nor will I ever just hire anyone to be fully staffed. These girls care about their jobs, and perform it to the HIGHEST STANDARDS there are.... MINE.... (I currently have 20 girls on my payroll other than myself) The very minute I walked out of the customers’ home that I was in I called you. I tried to talk with you about the situation and explained to you that we do not clean walls as part of our "regular" or “Deep Cleaning” cleaning. It is in fact on a "RARE" occasion that we clean them at all, due to certain types of paint and the potential of actually “scrubbing" the paint of the wall entirely. During the phone conversation you stated that we put the “black soot" on your walls. I can assure that we are in the business of removing dirt from our customers’ homes, not bringing it in and leaving it. There is nothing that we have that could have left black soot marks on anything in anyone's home sir. I have never in my entire professional career had anyone speak to me in the manner in which you did. I asked you several times to please stop yelling at me, and you refused. Several times throughout the conversation you asked me if my girls were “stupid" and what was wrong with them that they couldn't “open their own mouths and tell you to turn the A/C down". Situations such as these, in my opinion, are better dealt with by management or the owner so that there is no misunderstanding of insubordination from the employees. (Which I do not tolerate from any of my employees, to staff, each other but especially our customers) I apologize if I sound rude, but after listening to you scream at me for just under 15 minutes I understood that you were not interested in anything but yelling at me. The fact that you gave all F’s confirms that I was correct in thinking that. I take pride in our reputation for being the BEST cleaning company in the Midlands! Detailed Excellence has been chosen by Angie's List to be featured on “Service Town” We have not maintained an "A" rating for almost 4 years for being rude, nasty and “mediocre"! You never once mentioned the quality of our work was poor or not to your satisfaction, you verbally attacked me screaming at me because I should have informed you that there were more people than myself that work for this company and due to my team not cleaning your walls. I feel that your review is VERY unfair to me, this company and the team that cleaned your home. I can only hope that all who read this review and response will let the dozens of GLOWING reviews speak for my standards and the standards of everyone that is employed here!
