This company is outstanding. We had used them previously with much success. They communicate well, provide estimates in writing and work within the estimates, are detail oriented and customer focussed. Both Chris and Sheryl did an excellent job, came when scheduled and follow up on our work. I thought a door 'stay' had been removed and not replaced and called to ask that they come back out. In reality, Chris pointed out that he did not remove the doors as another contractor had done it to install the new washer and dryer; however, he replaced the doors as an extra service, and did not charge for the trip or the time. These are good people and I will use them again.

Cheryl contacted me and came by to give an estimate within just a few hours of my initial contact. I have an older home and wanted to refinish the old pine plank flooring in my bathroom which had a lot of adhesive residue. She was very upfront about possible shading that might appear on the wood after they were sanded since there had originally been linoleum tiles on the floor. The price was a bit more than I anticipated, but in her cost estimate Cheryl explained that there was a minimum setup charge, which made perfect sense to me, especially since the sanding had to be done with a smaller sander since the space wouldn't allow for the larger equipment. They showed up on time and completed the work as promised, which included installing new quarter-round molding. I love the results and will definitely use this company in the future. By the way, Columbia Flooring refinished all of the oak flooring in my house when I bought it 28 years ago, and they are still in pretty good shape, which is why I contacted them to do this work.

Great job! Floors look great! Great to work with with. We were willing to help me out, as I wasn't living in the house, or the state at the time. Good business people, as well as good at refinishing floors. Would recommend.

Columbia Flooring was punctual, working within our timelines, and matched (as nearly as possible) the finish of the old floor to that ofthe new. Cheryl and her team were punctual each time we set appointments and work dates, and cleaned up after themselves. I have used this company in the past and will use them again. They did move some furniture for us so that they could complete the job (and, I still owe her $50 for that!); customized a doorframe to work better with new carpeting that was to be installed, and came out at least one extra time. My only complaint (and this is very, very small) would be to discuss the finishes tha would be put on the floors. Ours was a high gloss and I would have preferred a lower gloss; however, Cheryl exlained that the finish used was the most durable for the high traffic areas. I might have chosen it anyway based on that, but my first impression was that it wa too shiney. We have added a rug that tones it down near the windows and we love it! Thank you to this company.

Their price was very good. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. We had some follow up work done by them because we noticed that the floor was bubbling up here and there. They came out and redid it the very next day and it turned out great. They were very responsive.
