I had scheduled service three times. The first two times, the technician was several hours late, so I rescheduled for several weeks in advance. I called to verify several days before and was assured that the serviceman would be at my house at the appointed time. When he did not show up. I called the company and was sent to a voice mail box that was not set up. I called the home warranty company and got a new company. Then when someone from Mechnical and More called, and I told him that I was going with another company because I had no response from his company, he became very rude. This company got consistently bad reviews

We had an overall bad experience. They said they would be there within a certain time frame and did not show up until much later in the day. Then they would have to leave before the work was done because they ran out of time. They had to return to our home on multiple occasions to fix various issues related to the installation of our tankless water heater -- most of the issues involved leaking and even flooding in our basement (problems they had caused themselves). They quoted me a fair price for the installation of the tankless water heater; I asked them over the phone if they would accept credit cards as a form of payment, and they said that was no problem at all; however, after they ran my credit card I discovered they had charged me an additional 7%. They said it was a fee that MY credit card charged, but it was really a fee that they were charging themselves. The people running this company, while I'm sure they are good people outside of work, are unprofessional, late and did not know what they were doing. I feel that this should have been installed correctly the first time, but it took multiple, multiple times for them to get it right. And they often smelled of strong cigarette smoke. I had a long list of additional items I would have gladly hired them to do around my home, but decided that trusting this company to do the jobs correctly in a timely manner would never happen.
