The technician Ralph Williams was a very punctual and courteous, explaining what might have caused the problems in both units. In 2 Ton split unit, he used nitrogen gas to purge the drainage pipe which fixed leaking problem. In 3 Ton unit, he suspected the capacitor is likely to have a defect rather than the fan motor itself. As he predicted my old capacitor was broken and replaced quickly. All this professional works were done in 30 minutes with kind explanation. I really admire the professionalism of Mr. Ralph Williams who has been working in this area for 25 years. If you happpen to read this review you are very lucky since you do not need to look at other companies. Before I asked the service of this company, I have called about 10 companies with A grade on Angies List, but unanimously they did not explain what the problems might be. They only Intrested in selling two new HVAC units with the price range of $9,500-$13,000. If you have HVAC problem this company is for you. I strongly recommend this company for you.

I found them very good, very conscientious, very clean, and whatever. I've used them for like the last five years. It was either $150 or $200. I have no idea about pricing because I didn't get a price from someone else. I've had no problems or anything else. They were there right when they were supposed to.

Excellent service. Called around 1:30 and the technician was at my home and had my service completed before 4:30pm. I could not have been happier with my experience. I will be calling them in the fall so they can check for leaks in my system. Update: I have used them again and they continued to offer the excellent service that I received in the past. I will definitely continue to use there service. Great people offering great service at an excellent price.

Mike even tailored my invoice at my request in order for me to accurately itemize my installation costs for investment property taxes and depreciation. Prompt, efficient, professional with installation and cleanup. I have recommended this company to several other people.

I purchased the Groupon and called for an appt. in February. I was told their earliest appt. was in May. On that day, no one called nor showed up to the appointment. Frustrated 2 hours after their scheduled end time, I called. I was told that their were technical difficulties with their equipment and would I like to reschedule. They had no plan to call me themselves and rectify. I said I wanted the very next appointment available. They said it was in July. They refused to juggle current appointments or fit me in for any reason. As my family is struggling with the HVAC filtering in our new rental, I felt like I needed to keep trying. I rescheduled again. This time I needed to leave town unexpectedly. I called twice and received no answer. I finally sent a contact request through their website. I have no idea if anyone arrived for this appointment either. Again there was no phone call. I finally received an email two days later asking if he could reschedule for me. I replied that that is what I wanted. I have never heard from them again. That was a week ago. I have no idea if they do good work as they have never graced my doorstep nor honored their Groupon deal with me. Their customer service is terrible, in my opinion.

Mike and his team were very professional and quick. They did an exceptional job with the installation! We didn't expect them to clean up after the install, but they did so with such efficiency - you couldn't even tell I had a contractor in the house. :-) We will be using them again in the near future when we have to replace all of the duct work under the house. ** Highly recommended!!!!

We dealt directly with the owner of the company. He was prompt, professional, and explained the problem thoroghly. We were impressed with his knowledge and his attention to detail. He delivered and installed the new unit immediately. Since the unit was outdoors and the new unit was larger, some plantings were in the way. They even replanted the plants that had to be moved! Customer service was excellent. A very positive experience!

They were great. I would have hired them but I found a company to do it for cheaper. They were incredibly nice, professional, down to earth, knew what they were talking about. They gave me tips and helpful information that no other companies gave. I was able to make more informed decisions based on what he told me. I called him Thursday night and he was here early Friday morning.

My wife and I recently purchased a home built in the 80's with the original HVAC unit. After several estimates from HVAC companies, we chose a guy named Mike with Quality Heat and Air. When he came out for the estimate, he was upfront about the issues we faced, spoke in a language we could understand, and even said he could save us money by reusing perfectly good registers in the ceiling that other companies said needed to be replaced. Not only was his estimate the most reasonable, but no other company offered us options based on the efficiency of the units. Throughout the installation, he and his men were prompt, extremely friendly, and even more efficient than the unit they installed. Once the work was completed, Mike sat down with us and explained everything they did. He and his crew replaced the entire unit along with new ductwork, and they left our attic cleaner than they found it. Because I worked in construction for ten years, I've seen HVAC companies leave old compressors, rusty drain pans, tape, PVC, and even their lunch wherever they were working. In a world where it's getting harder to depend on contractors to do what they say they'll do, it's refreshing to know there are still some quality professionals you can trust. Choose Mike with Quality Heat and Air, and I promise you won't regret it.

They did excellent service. It was great. They came out quickly because we didn't have any heat because of the snow. They took care of the problem and then came back the next day to check on it. Parts of the repair were under warranty and we paid for the labor. It was great service and it is working well.

Requested quote on new HVAC for both upstairs and downstairs (2 complete units). Mike came out within an hour and provided me 3 options. Pricing was very good - comparable to on-line/ebay pricing. The HVAC manufacturer was offering $1k/per unit rebate that was expiring 12/31/10 - Mike promised to have units installed by 12/31/10, and he kept his promise. Mike and his crew arrived ~7:30 AM and left ~ 5:00 PM. Both units installed. Very clean and professional installation. The crew laid down sheets on my flooring to help prevent dirt from getting into my house. After they were finished, they swept and cleaned up. Mike thoroughly explained the operation of the computerized thermostat and filled out all my rebate forms. Units are as described and are performing great!

I called the company 'dry'. They were not on angie's list and I stumbled across them doing an internet search. I had already called about 3 other well known companyies in the Aiken county area and was not impressed with their prices or their hours of operation (8-5, M-F only). These guys work day goes till 8pm (instead of 5pm) and charged the lowest fee so I gave them a shot. Their website also indicated that they were licensed and insured. They answered the phone right away, but it was not an office dispatcher who answered. It was one of the guys who ran the company, he was out in the 'field' so you are calling a cell phone. At first I wasn't impressed because I was told: we will call you back tonight or in the morning. Mentally, I decided to forget about them because in a situation like this, you expect a firm day/time for an appointment. But they called back that same day at about 6pm saying they were sending a guy over. It took about 2 hours and we just barely missed their over time charges (double the hourly charge if they work past 8pm). But they got it working! It took them a while to diagnose the problem and at first they could not get it to work. But apparently that was because of complicated wiring in our old A/C system. They were able to get the connections right and we ended up needing a new transformer. We are happy with their work ethic, charges and the quality of their services. I don't think we could have gotten this done cheaper, with this level of service/quality. The thing to remember about how they charge is: $55 evaluation fee, then $100/hour. If they work after 8pm, then the hourly charge is double. I think a lot of places have flat fees, rather than hourly. So it might feel a little scary to take on a company who is hourly. But I think you probably win out with this company in the end because they seem to be honest and they have a lower evaluation fee (which I think actually applied toward our bill); other major companies I called had an evaulation fee of $99 to $165 (and that fee will not count towards your bill, you pay it and it's bye, bye money - and of course on top of that you pay the cost of the service/repair they provide).
