Precision Total Home

My family had a terrible experience with Precision Total Home. We signed a contract in May 2018 and closed on our loan in July 2018. Precision received their first draw off of that loan during the first week of August 2018. Permits were not obtained until January 2019 even though there were no outstanding issues to prevent getting permitting, Precision simply did not do it. We were lied to that the permits were submitted on several occasions in the months prior to this as well. We actually had to go to the county buildings with Scott McKay in order to obtain the permits because this was the only way to force the company to follow through. Every bit of work that was done on our home had to be redone multiple times because Precision continued to fail inspections. We also learned during this time and documented that Precision Total Home lied to us numerous times. The bank which our loan was secured through threatened to foreclose on the construction loan in March 2019 because there had literally been no progress. As of May 2019, our house still had no foundation and we chose to terminate our agreement with Precision Total Homes and Marvin Valentine. In one year, literally nothing was satisfactorily completely on our project while our construction loan continued to accrue interest. If you want a home build, stay away from this company.
