We had Eddie Barham and Six Palms Construction build our home about 5 years ago, and he and his crew did a wonderful job ? we love everything about the house. There are a number of reasons why we unequivocally recommend and would use Six Palms again: The house was brought in under budget and on time (from groundbreaking to move?in was a little less than 6 months). Mr. Barham patiently worked with us every step of the way, from helping us pick out windows and doors to explaining different options for roofing and siding; his crews were great ? what is absolutely outstanding about the project was that there was at least one trade here every single day ? and Mr. Barham was onsite at least part of the day, every day. We credit his presence with helping to keep the project moving quickly and with the utmost quality My wife designed the house using a software package and we had a draftsperson create the blueprints. There were several design elements that looked great on paper, but both the crew and Mr. Barham tactfully pointed out that the way they were drawn on the blueprints would not look good in practice. For example, the house is mission style and the columns out front were large, but looked good on the drawings ? Mr. Barham and his crew drew out on the porch the outline of the column bases, and we could immediately see that they were way too large for the front porch. If they had just proceeded to build what was there, those columns out front would not have been proportional and the ?curb appeal? would have been severely compromised. Six Palms did an outstanding job on our home and we whole-heartedly recommend Mr. Barham and his company for any construction project.

Mr. Barham's advice is always sound and cost effective. When we have questions or need solutions, he is the person we trust. We've found him to be extremely knowledgeable in all areas of home construction, including the planning and budgeting phases. But most importantly, he is an honorable man who is highly respected by all who interact with him - his crew, customers, vendors, and friends. His hands-on approach, commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship place him head and shoulders above any contractor we've ever known or worked with. He does not cut corners, and he won't compromise on quality. We have toured several homes built by Six Palms Construction and talked with the homeowners. The houses are not only beautiful and well-constructed, but the details are so well thought out. Each house feels like a home - with personal, helpful touches built in that most contractors would never take time to think about and include. We've also been really impressed by his ability to sculpt an empty lot into an oasis. He has a unique vision for each individual property, including the hardscape and landscape. He puts a lot of thought into how a home will sit and function on the property, and what the access will feel like driving in. Every Six Palms home we've been in feels like a retreat -- and they began as just empty lots with a few trees. We've had experience building and remodeling homes, and we've never finished with a contractor we could recommend to any of our friends. Until now...we highly recommend Six Palms Construction - a contractor you can trust, one who cares about his customers.

Six Palms Construction building of our home was an excellent experience. Eddie is easy to work with, offered professional advice and counsel, and his recommendations for upgrades, design changes,etc were very helpful in determining the final details of our home. Eddie and his team very good communicators, and demonstrated excellent follow up as required to keep the work flow moving daily.
