Horribly. They were very unprofessional and did a horrible job. We had to bring in 88 loads of dirt just to cover up the drain field that was not buried deep enough. So When I thought I was getting a reasonably priced job. It was very expensive by the end. The owner was yelling and cussing in my front yard demanding full payment and threatening to hit me. I am female and half his size. Because I kept saying "what do you mean you are done? It is still sticking out of the ground".

The service was outstanding. We had called another provided when we moved in to empty the system and they came out but could not locate the tank. They looked in the crawlspace to see where the lines came out and left the crawlspace door open and just gave up without any attempt to locate the tank. I called Island Septic Systems and they came out immediately where on time and called to let me know when they would be here prior to arriving. They too had difficulty but did some searching and located the tank. They also got into the crawlspace but closed the door properly. The two gentlemen where very professional and courtesy and although you only have to do this service every 4-years I would not use any other company and highly recommend them. Thank you. Debbie

I called Island Septic during the weekend. They were on vacation at the time, but returned my call early Monday morning. A crew of 4 men arrived couple hours later and proceeded find the problem. Once the waste water was pumped out and the pump was removed, they found that the check-valve at the road was faulty and allowing waste water from other homes in the area to enter our pump chamber. They were not permitted to change the defective Charleston Water System valve at the road, but did install a new check-valve at our waste pump. They were very professional and courteous.

We use ISLAND SEPTIC SYSTEMS' services to empty our septic tank. I would grade them a B at this point because he made a prediction and asked to call him back in 2 months if we had any problems. And we haven’t had any problems and it's been 6 months.
