Robs Restaurant Service

I was pleased with his knowledge of heat and air, he was personable and seemed eager to work. In November Rob phoned me to "perform a free service inspection" in the largest building on the property. In hindsight this offer was merely a ploy to gain access to my house and "make the sale." Rob found many ways to improve my current system. Rob supplied me with a written quote of $2025.00 to make the changes in my hvac unit. He immediately requested money "for supplies". At that time I told him that one of the Units #1 was making an odd noise and that I needed a metal "filter guard" replacement on units #2. Rob told me he would repair the noisy motor and replace the filter guard as they were (obviously) under warranty. In order to facilitate a timely job completion I gave Rob keys to the two buildings that he would be making repairs to. Rob and his crew worked for many days on the New System in the main building replacing vents and air handlers. Rob told me that the job was "much bigger" than he anticipated. In the end, I paid Rob $9200.00 for a $2025.00 estimated job. I have phoned Rob in excess of 20 times requesting that he complete the job. One area of the building is not receiving adequate circulation, I never received the replacement part, the "noisy" new motor still needs repair, the crew left trash on the site and Rob never returned my keys. To sum this debacle up: I paid in excess of 4 x's the estimate and have been taken to the cleaners. .
