The main thing I like about this company is that they are using all-electric equipment from the big mowers to the blowers to the trimming-and-edging. They charge the system using primarily (if not solely) the solar-powered trailer used to haul equipment to the job site. The owner mentioned not buying oil or gas for the past 3 years. Better for the environment with ZERO emissions AND the same price (a little less actually) than my old lawn service is a win-win. Overall they have been very easy to deal with and I can usually get a fairly quick response from the owner when I email or call. The only reason for the and quot;Band quot; ratings in some categories is coming later than expected even a day late on one occasion. Not a big deal for me but it may be for others. Keep in mind that this has been an extremely unusual wet spring/summer which really limits their cutting days (even the and quot;gas powered guysand quot; aren't coming out because the ground is too wet... 16and quot; above normal this year through June). My guess is during a normal spring/summer they are not as over-loaded and are much more able to keep to the schedule. I've been very happy with this company and think I'll use them for a long time. Anyone that is using non-eco friendly gas powered lawn services should check it out. They cost the same, do as good a job as the others, and it is way less pollution both in exhaust and noise. BTW - the equipment is far less noisy... an added bonus, IMO!

I'll start by saying I was very happy with the results of the weed treatment. I'm big on the use of all-natural herbicides when at all possible as I have animals and do not want to bring nasty chemicals into my home. EarthFriendly makes their own natural herbicide that works great (even on dollar weed!) so I was very pleased with that. I felt that the pricing, while more expensive than a Round-up type product, was fair due to the nature of the product. However, trying to set up an initial meeting time to get someone over to see the extent of weed spread was difficult. Part of that is on me (I work long hours and therefore am not home during most businesses normal hours) but it would have been nice to get in earlier. Also, once the yard was inspected and a quote was given, the treatment didn't actually happen for a few additional weeks. This company seems to be pretty busy, but sometimes it's hard to get the things scheduled when you would like them to be. However, I think this just depends on the situation as I know another neighbor used them and had no problems getting scheduled. Overall, I would use them again, but I'd definitely expect a bit of a holdup if your schedule isn't flexible.
