+ -1 moreI contacted Tim Dover by phone and he quoted $350 - $400 to come to our house In Anderson, SC to remove honeybees from our structure. My husband also had a separate phone call with Tim. There was no mention at any time during either phone call of a minimum charge of $150 to come to the house. Tim was very eager to use Furman University's name as a reference. As it turns out we had yellow jackets and he advised how to remove them by pouring gasoline in the hive. He then charged a $150.00 minimum charge just for coming to the house. As I was not present, my husband was not aware Tim and I had not discussed this charge and so therefore he paid Tim the $150.00. I have spoken to Tim and expressed my disappointment over the fact we were never informed of the minimum charge during our conversations prior to his arrival. I expressed to him that had I known there was a minimum charge I would have shopped around first. I also advised I would be posting this information on Angie's List.
