Original quote versus final job cost varied by +25%. Material costs I can understand but other reasons given not so much. Incorrect material delivery caused a delay in completion but should have been noticed at beginning of job rather than near the end. Quality of construction was excellent. Job knowledge also excellent.

The main construction was good, however we needed them to come back to address some minor problems. We called many times and was told we were "on the list". Well, it has been a year since our last connection and we are still waiting.

Our home had a deck and we loved being outside and enjoying our backyard and the quiet of the neighborhood. We needed to replace it and were torn between another deck or a four seasons room. After weighing the pros and cons, we decided that the four seasons room was our best option. Each of us had ideas about what we wanted so we had a "blueprint" in our minds eye and began the search for a contractor. In June 2017, we found DG Builders through Angie's List and because of his "A" ratings we contacted him about our project and I'm glad we did. Our initial meeting was productive and we immediately liked him, felt comfortable with him and knew he was the right builder for us. We consulted with him several times to create our wish list and to get quotes from him on the specifics of the job and once we were comfortable, we signed the contract. Throughout the process, David always knew what was going on with our project, even if he wasn't by the house for several days. I cannot say enough about the contractors that do some work for David because they were outstanding. Everyone that worked on our room was professional and it is evident from the work they did, that they are craftsmen and enjoy their craft and we are the recipients of their expertise. A brick foundation, concrete floor, custom windows, a beautiful cedar ceiling and the fireplace and make the room feel like a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, every piece has a place and it fits perfectly. If you're thinking of a project for your home, we highly recommend DG Builders, LLC. We found him to be honest, trustworthy and a man of his word. I have referred DG Builders to several of my friends and will definitely call on David for any future projects.

Awesome! DG Builders listened to our needs. Then they worked with us to get a deck we will use for a long time. The team was hard working, honest and reliable. I would highly recommend them.

David and his crew were both great. David had some great ideas to finish off the vision that I was already providing. He made the suggestion you use cedar, which ended up being awesome. He crew also did such a neat job of making the fence follow the slope of the yard well and it looks awesome. I had 4 quotes and David was the cheapest, had the best materials (cedar when other were quoting pine), and could get it done the fastest. It was a no brainer of a choice and I’m glad I made it.

David Gerisch, the owner, came out himself to quote the job. After taking the meaurements he put a quote together right there on the spot and told me verbally and even emailed the quote before he left. Felt the price was fair. His crew was right on time, actually a tad early (believe that is today's construction world!) and had the job done within a few hours. It looks great and definitely adds value to the townhome. David even followed up to make sure we were pleased, and yes we were....in fact, if I need other remodeling / repairing I know who to call.

We are very pleased with pool deck. Dave's 3-man crew was great! They seem to actually enjoy working! We will not hesitate to use DG Builders again. As a matter of fact, we plan to have them install a new wooden fence around our home. We highly recommend their services to others.

Could not have envisioned a better conclusion! My husband and I met with and received quotes from several companies regarding demolition of our deck and building a new screened porch. We were impressed with David's ability to see and expound on our vision. One of our biggest concerns was the demolition of our existing decks since our house was built using steel beams and the deck was constructed on the steel beams. Demolition took longer than originally forecasted, but David's crew was careful and thorough. Every crew he brought in was top notch. They were all helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and extremely capable. True craftsmen. We now have a beautiful screen porch and patio below. We would love to hire David and his team for future projects.

It went well but took over 3 months. There were many delays with rain & needing an Engineering Letter to make the deck up to code. The result is a beautiful deck that we'll be able to use for years to come.

We interviewed several local companies to build our covered porch and deck and demolish the old one, we did lots of research on the companies and really liked what we saw regarding DG Builders. We hired David knowing it was going to be several weeks until he could get started. From the day he and his crew started our project we were impressed with the quality of work they were doing. The materials they used for our project were top of the line and they were timely and worked diligently to get our project complete before the holidays. Throughout the project I had a few changes and David accommodated me with no problem and was always happy to give us his professional opinion regarding aesthetics of the project. Our porch is finished and is absolutely beautiful and I could not be more happy and I would hire David 100 times over.

Fantastic! David Gerrish (owner of DG Builders is very easy to work with---he listens!). His crew and sub-contractors are all top notch. They were polite and respectful to us and our farm animals. The work performed included grading of ground, cement work, building the garage completely including painting, windows and doors (2 9' garage doors and a side entry door). They did a great job cleaning up and with the finish work. We have had work done by DG Bulders before and will continue to hire them when future projects come along. Great honest and sincere company. You will mot be disappointed when you hire DG Builders!

We set up an appointment for the contractor to come out and bid on some renovation work we were having done. He was late for the appointment but no big deal at that stage, took some measurements, wrote things down that we wanted to have done, and gave us some options for the driveway we wanted to pour. We expressed that we needed a bid completed in an urgent manner for the type of loan we were doing and he assured us that it would not be an issue. To date, we have still not received a bid and had to take our services elsewhere. Completely disappointed in the services (or lack thereof) that we received especially after we had shared with him our grievances with another contractor. It has been almost 2 months and DG Builders has not even let us know that they won't be able to place the bid. Unprofessional.

DG Builders was a great company to work with, professional and willing to do changes along the way for us. You never really know what may look the best or if you want to add things until the project gets underway, and we found plenty to add or change. David the owner and his staff were not only willing to make the changes but helped us with the design of the new additions to the project. If you are looking for a honest hard working company that you can trust, look no further.

Very well we didn’t have any delays once work started.

Everything looks great and professional. Roof and siding you can barely tell any work was done, it looks like it's always been that way. The roofing crew especially was excellent, doing the major part of the project in just one afternoon. I'm planning to hire David and his crew for my next project.

David came to our house to give a free estimate on a fence. He was very friendly, and told me he would get back to me on the details via email. A week later, I had still not heard anything, so I called to check on the status. He told me he would have it to me the following day. Three days after that, I had still not received anything, so I called again. He thanked me for reminding him and assured me he would have it to me soon. Another week and a half later (3 weeks after the initial estimate), I had still not heard anything, so we were forced to give up.

Booked their deal through Angie's List but they never replied when I attempted to schedule the appointment. Might do good work if they show up but they did not for me.

David came out and looked at the job that needed to be done .He told me what he would do and what it will cost then said he would send me an E-mail with the official bid. Didn't hear from him for several weeks. When i finally called him he said that he would E-mail me a bid . Well guess what haven't heard from him yet. Can't understand why someone would go out of there way to wast his and my time. Just glad i didn't give him any money to start on the job. would not hire him and would not recommend him.

We contacted David at DG Builders and felt very comfortable with him as soon as we met him. He and his team are very professional and kept a neat worksite. They were also extremely respectful of our property and did an outstanding job. We would not hesitate to work with David again should the need arise and have already recommended him to our neighbors.
