Gee & Gee refinished an antique mahogany music cabinet - they restored the finish, inside and out, cleaned and polished the brass hardware, and replaced a missing piece of wood at the top back of the cabinet that was key to the piece's design and style. They apparently salvaged a piece of antique mahogany from another source and cut, routed, stained and finished the wood to be a perfect match for the original. A masterful job, the first time in over 30 years that this cabinet has been complete.

Mr. Henry picked up our busted footboard soon after we contacted him. He did a tremendous job repairing and polishing the piece. It is 70 year-old Mahogony and once again has a beautiful shine to it. He did a great job and within the timeframe he promised. I would definitely hire him again for furniture repair work.

Mr. Henry is true to what he says. He doesn't take long to finish the repair and he is a little pricey but his service is worth it. Will use him again.

He did, came to my home, appraised the work, gave me a price and removed the furniture to be fixed all within 1 hour of my call. The gentlemen and Gee & Gee are just that, gentlemen. They arrived on time, very friendly, and helpful. They repaired my love seats and chairs that had rattan arms that had some damage and dangerous to seat on and replaced all the rattan with a fabric that matched the print on the cushions. They also replaced the fabric on the dining chairs seats that turned out great. The gentlemen at Gee & Gee have high standards, work hard and you get satisfactory results.

The project was excellent. Furniture was damaged by a national mover. Ripped off leg had to be reattached to the bottom of a 40 year old cedar chest. Bottom of the cedar chest was coming out without the leg support. While it was in for repair the seat cushion on the top was replaced as an add on. Original cushion top showing its age. When the unit came back, it look brand new off the showroom floor. Wood was cleaned up (old paint removed and chipped corners repaired) and shined up like brand new. Seat cushion had edging/piping and buttons. Gee & Gee Upholstery & Furniture, LLC kept the total repair cost within my budget. Recommend.

Gee & Gee Upholstery & Furniture was a God-send. Mr. Gee took my wicker chairs from a base product and gave them a million-dollar makeover. The precision in his stitching in the way he matched up the fabric gives the chairs the high-end look my husband and I wanted. My husband is never too thrilled about my design ideas, but when he saw the chairs, all he could do was smile (his way of expressing appreciation). Gee & Gee responded quickly to look at the project. They were upfront and honest about their opinion on the job. They determined they could not make the repair I needed. I appreciated this instead of someone who said they can do it and in the end you aren't pleased.

We had an antique rocking chair repaired, refinished and re-upholstered. We also had a cane seat and back replaced in a high back rocking chair as well as refinishing the chair. In addition, the cane seats replaced in 2 antique occasional chairs as well as refinishing of the chairs. This furniture is highly valued by our family so quality of work was essential. The work was done in a highly professional manner, of the highest quality and completed and delivered in a timely manner as promised. The owner was extremely cordial and very easy to work with. We are completely satisfied.

Pro was a little high on the money; but, did good work. Between pickup and delivery, it was five weeks. Wish it could have been quicker--we didn't have a couch to sit on. There's not many craftsmen around with their trade & skill ----guess you can afford to take as long as you want. RickL.
