Description of Work: I called to schedule an appointment to have somebody come out to quote a job to have several trees removed from my property. They responded that they would only send somebody to quote if the work would be at least $2500 and I agreed to pay them $100 for the quote even if I didn't use them. I told them that this was a large job and it would certainly be over $2500; however, I was not willing to pay $100 for them to simply quote the job. I told them because of the size of the job I needed multiple quotes before I would select the company I will hire and that I already received 1 quote. They would not agree to provide a quote for free so I told them no thanks.

Description of Work: major tree work. limbed branches on tree next to house so that squirrels cannot jump on roof. took out a tree, de-girdled a tree that was being strangled by ground cover. cut and formed bushes next to the house. also, cleared debris from their work. | |excellent service.

Description of Work: My property has several ancient water oaks that require special care. They trimmed and fertilized them this year and did a fantastic job. The crew they sent were very capable and careful. In addition, the company explained the reasoning behind the manner in which they trimmed certain branches. Special attention was given to the part of the tree that overhangs my screened porch. They made sure to give adequate clearance to allow for weather conditions and growth pattern. They took down a very large diseased cherry tree near the house and that was well done as well. It was they who noticed the disease, so I was thankful for that. Another crew came back later and ground up the root. All in all, the job and follow up were excellent and I'd highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Don came out the middle of September to evaluate our Leyland Cypresses on that are yellowing slightly. |He gave us a verbal price of $1800.00, and then $850 a year thereafter. He was going to e-mail us a written estimate. I called Don on the phone after he came out to ask him some questions, which he did answer. However, he did not remember coming out to see us that day. He stated he saw eight customers that day. He seemed very disinterested. I sent a follow-up request via Angie's list on 9/29/15 requesting another Arborist come out and take a soil same or tree sample to properly diagnosis the tree. No response.

Description of Work: I could not be more pleased with the work done by Schneider Tree Care. The arborist met with me and a work order was sent to me afterward. When the crew came to do the work, the crew chief reviewed with me the work to be completed. Ten trees were pruned and several also thinned. Dead limbs were removed when present. The shape of each tree was maintained; there was no lobbing off of the top of the trees, One tree was removed. All debris was removed. The crew completed the project in one afternoon. The did a great job!

Description of Work: They did a pretty good job. They left a few more dents in the yard from the dropping of my neighbors tree in my yard than I would have liked. Otherwise good job.

Description of Work: Did detailed evaluation of all trees on property, explained overall needs and was able to break into a 2 year plan we could afford; very fair estimate for tree removal. Trees to be cut in a few weeks.
