+ 3 moreTotal crooks! Owner Chuck Starks and his assistant Randall Owens had our granite installed at our home by their so called “professional installers”. After job was complete and installers had left. I I noticed they had CRACKED THE GRANITE AND TRIED TO CONCEAL IT, IT WAS CRACKED IN 3 SEPARATE AREAS!! They actually applied a colored bonding glue and walked away like nothing happened!!! Too good and slick for this to be their first time being deceitful! We took pics and video and contacted owner Chuck. This was Feb 21,2020 and we are still playing a “cat and mouse” game with this business owner. He won’t answer my calls and is dodging the situation after he apologized and promised he would replace it. This is obviously the way they conduct business. We are still out of money and a kitchen that is useless. Backsplash and range hood can’t be installed until granite is replaced.I have expressed to Chuck to no avail! They rush to get your money and “2nd grade granite” (that’s another story) I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL THEY REPLACE THIS GRANITE OR PULL IT ALL OUT AND GIVE US OUR HARD EARNED MONEY BACK!

+ -1 moreWe are now in our new home having moved in around the July 1st. Granite is still in need of repair. Promises made to make repairs and a couple of appointments made to inspect etc. Owner out of town, etc. Not very professional, or cordial.
Description of Work: Provider furnished and installed granite top to new construction. Granite for two bathrooms was chosen from salvage and this granite seems to be good. Unfortunately granite for kitchen counter top and bar was a higher level grade/ more exotic. Large chip noted in bar approximately 1/4 inch in diameter. After looking further there are chips on entire piece of granite that did not show up until client started checking granite closer. Provider notified and eventually sent someone out to look at granite . Response time very poor. After several weeks and endless phone calls/ texts - provider responded to repair inquiry. Provider stated that he had not done any repairs because contractor told him to hold off. Granite was bought and paid cash for. Still weeks later and after living in house for three months, Palmetto Granite has yet to repair granite. Owner, Chuck Stark did come out to inspect granite and stated that he would buff it down and possibly replace sink that they had installed.

+ 0 moreWe had to be out of town the weekend May 25th. Before leaving, we had selected our granite. Precision Carpentry and Plumbing was our general contractor. They coordinated with Palmetto Granite for the installation. While traveling to our destination, Randall Owens of Palmetto Granite contacted us to inform us that he had to get the granite from Charlotte, NC. He kept us informed as to the progress by phone. Upon our return on Tuesday, May 28th, the job was complete. We are very happy with the results.
Description of Work: Furnished and installed granite counter tops in newly remodeled kitchen.
