The owner told me he would swing by my house and text me a quote. The next day I received an extremely rude and vulgar message saying “Came by this morning and saw ur getting work done already that’s pretty ------- to not contact me and waste my time”. The owner saw my truck and trailer out front and assumed I had hired someone else. I refuse to do business with someone who has anger issues and jumps to conclusions. After I messaged back and explained that it was my truck and trailer and I had not hired anyone else he still did not apologize for his extremely rude and vulgar behavior.

Wow! These guys are great. We had some old boxwoods for foundation plants on one side of our porch that we despised and wanted gone. We had previously removed an old tree that was right up against our house from the other side of the porch, leaving a few sickly azaleas and some other assorted, mismatched, nonsense plants. We also had a ring of old day lilies and weeds around some nearby oak trees that we asked to be removed. We purchased the replacement plants we wanted, and in half a day these guys transformed out front yard with their magic. They excavated, mulched, planted and pruned our front yard back into shape. It looks better than it has in over 10 years. I can't say enough kind things about this company. Fantastic work! Their pricing is great, and was money well spent indeed. We have worked with a few landscaping companies in our time and I haven't seen any better than this one. Kudos!!

Very well. Lance came out promptly to give an estimate. Retuned in 2 days to do the work. The work was well done. Would definitely have him do work for us again.

I live in North Main in Greenville, SC. Lance is good people. Call him to get the quickest response (he's super responsive just clearly prefers phone to text/e-mail) He is incredibly caring and passionate about his work. You communicate your needs and he will give you the most practical solution and along with it the most cost-effective one. Lance has oftentimes called me to say "I've been thinkin' about your lawn..." and, mind you, only with recommendations for me to do myself. He NEVER tries to find reasons to come by for you to pay him. In fact, he came by and aerated my lawn a second time for free just because I didn't get the results out of it the first time (even though likely my fault the lawn was too dry). He has installed an irrigation system for me and a couple pallets of Zoysia sod. One of the good ones. It's just him and one other guy -- quiet and all business! -- so tends to do smaller jobs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Lance and his helper did an excellent clean up of my lawn and flower beds getting ready for Spring.

Had shrubs in front of our house trimmed. They really did an excellent job trimming and cleanup. We were very pleased. Will certainly call them again.

I was very satisfied with the work. Lance contacted me back extremely promptly. Work was done on date and time agreed upon. They did a real nice job and cleaned up afterward.

The only reason why I gave them a B in quality is because at times when you ask them to do additional landscaping, the work wasn't done in the next service. Overall, I am satisfied with Packridge, they are very professional. 9 out of 10 times you want them to do something, they get it done. I actually recommended them to a couple guys.

Excellent! I contacted Lance for a quote on the work we needed done to the front of our home. He was here within 2 days and provided a detail quote with in a day or two. Within a week Lance had came to start the work. They did a great job. This team is very professional. Works well and fast. I highly recommend them. I am very disappointed. I've used this service for three years and thought he was a very nice man, but I received this note in my mailbox with no notice at all: "We have taken on other work and will no longer be able to serve this account."

Lance is a top-notch guy. My wife and I just had our first child, so when he initially came by to assess our project needs, he gave me lots of DIY advice so I wouldn't have to pay him to do everything. Very considerate and passionate about what he does. I think he even enjoyed schooling me on the subject. :) I took his advice and did the front lawn myself. Our backyard is a different story. It was a complete mud pit, probably had about 12 strands a grass in total. Lance and Team came out, carved out new bedding areas, replanted some bushes, planted a new tree, installed a new stone retaining wall and even put in an irrigation system for us (he knew we'd have our hands full with the baby, and didn't want our nice new lawn to die!). Once he put down the new sod, the entire backyard was transformed. We cannot WAIT to host out there now (rather than wait to host until after nightfall so people couldn't see what a mess it was!). Lance checks in from time to time to see how everything's going. Great guy, great company, HIGHLY recommended!

We were very pleased with the outcome of the front and back yards. It took a while to make the appointment, due to a busy schedule and bad weather. But the actual landscaping took only a couple of days, and we were very pleased with the results.

First, let me set the stage for why I had to use Lance & Packridge. Last fall I used a professional & allegedly excellent landscaper to fill in low spots, plant some small bushes and over seed my lawn. They showed up over a month late in early November, filled the holes, planted six shrubs and over seeded. They came back in the spring to reseed because the seed they spread in November never got up but the crabgrass where they filled the low spots did; eliminating a job well done by Tru-Green who rid my lawn of the evil grass the year before. Did I mention that 1/3 of the shrubs planted died? To correct this mess I called Lance of Packridge whom I had used previously for another job. He came right out, gave me a quote and told what and how he would straighten up the mess the "highly rated" professional landscaping firm made. Packridge started got started in late September/ early October. First, they removed the crabgrass with a special piece of equipment that reduced damage and digging in my yard. Then they leveled off the low spots and over seeded the entire lawn. I watered when I had to and the grass got up within a week. I now have a green lawn that this time last year had numerous dirt patches instead of grass. Lance and his crew did a jam up job and my wife is very happy with how our lawn looks. I am so happy I called Lance and he will be my first and only call any time I need lawn work done. He and his crew are professional & do quality work at a fair price. Thanks Lance!

Lance and his helper Mike had worked on my property some months ago. They did an awesome job at that time creating a number of large flower beds and arranging and planting plants, laying sod and sowing seed, and installing metal edgings. This also included taking me to a nursery and picking out plants and treating weeds. So this fall I wanted some more work done in my yard so I contacted Lance. This time only Lance came because Mike was on vacation. Lance is the most easy going, down to earth guy I have had the fortune of meeting since I have been here in Greenville only a year. He listens, he executes, and he is professional. All that at a fair price. What more can I ask for? I know in the future should I need any landscaping work done, I will call on Lance. Lance worked hard doing work younger guys would have complained about. Lance just came over early in the morning and worked for a large part of the day, loosening existing turf, cleaning it up, laying down sod, digging up existing grass and creating a flower bed, removing grass to install metal edgings, and treating weeds. There was probably some more stuff he did but I was not present to witness it. He returned two days later to finish up the work and topped everything off by cleaning and blowing off my driveway of all debris. He even redid a part of the flower bed that he had created because once I saw it, I realized mowing around it would be problematic. So I asked if he could just even it out to be workable, and he did, without blinking. That is what I like about him; you can ask him something and he does not make a fuss about it. So go no further, Lance is your guy for any sort of landscaping work. Fair, professional, and prompt. Lance and his helper Mike, are the only pair you need for your landscaping needs.

I've used Packridge Lawn Care for regular lawn care over several months now, after two other 'Craigslist' providers eventually flaked out. No complaints with Packridge at all. Lance is always responsive and does quality work. The yard looks great, and he does tree trimming and leaf removal as well. Online account management and payment also offered through FreshBooks. Definitely recommended provider.
