It went fine. I was without power for the day while they were here but everything was done by the late afternoon and they left me with the power turned on when they left and said I could use anything I needed. All that was then required was for the county to come out and inspect and for Duke Energy to increase the Amperage and put up a new meter outside. The county inspector came out in a few days and said everything looked "good". Now the only thing left is for Duke Energy to do their part.
Description of Work: They were competent, competitive, thorough, friendly with good follow through. What more can one ask for? Let me start by saying, I just moved into a 2000 sq. ft. dated old brick ranch from the 70's that needs everything. Upgrading the Electrical system was at the top of the list. I contacted three contractors. One was completely out of the ball park who quoted me three times what he should have --but for "an extra $89 I could save 15% because you found us on Angie's List.". How dumb did they think I was to fall for something like that? Right off the bat with an offer like that, it was obvious they were over charging by AT LEAST 15%. Another contractor was competitive but the quote wasn't itemized in as much detail or very professional looking. So I gave the work to Jaymarc. Three of them spent the entire day putting in a new and bigger circuit breaker box with a main breaker switch and upgrading my service to 200 Amps from 100; adding and upgrading outlets in the kitchen and baths to GFI outlets. They grounded the house ; put in bathroom fans that the house didn't even have before ; They put in a separate circuit to my office for my computers etc; a separate one for the kitchen fridge and an outlet in the garage ceiling for the garage door opener that had been powered by an extension cord plugged into a wall outlet and more! Now if I want to expand or add on to the house, the electrical service can handle it and I won't have to worry about it shorting out anything.

The gentleman arrived on time. He was very professional. He tested the lamppost and told me what the problem was. He then fixed the problem and told me that I would be billed for $95. He gave an invoice and left. He also left the faulty sensor with me.
Description of Work: Jay-Marc replaced a bad solar sensor in our outdoor lamppost and tightened some loose wiring.

It couldn't have gone any better and the price was reasonable.
Description of Work: I needed a new circuit to include flush floor outlets, track lighting with switching, an additional duplex convenience outlet, and a switched outside security light. Additional wiring from the electrical panel to the locations of these additions were necessary below the floor as well as in the walls and above the ceiling. The electricians worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves as they moved through the job.
