Ethical Plumbing

Dan and Mark were able to come to my house about 1/2 an hour earlier than scheduled. Dan called me before my scheduled appointment time and told me that were able to come to my house about 1/2 an hour earlier than scheduled and asked if it was convenient for me. Fortunately it was. After introductions, they went right to work on the sink drain, The basket and a small section of pipe had to be replaced due to the previous owners "fix" which had stripped the threads. Repair completed in less than 1/2 an hour. The next item was the faucet on the outside of the house that was not working. In order to get to the piping to replace the faucet, they had to cut a hole in the laundry room wall behind the washer. They were dead accurate and only a small hole was needed. Part of the supply to the faucet was replaced and the actual faucet. Again less than 1/2 hour. (I declined to have them repair the hole in the wallboard as the washer hid it and it would be easy in the future to get to the connection if needed.) Finally I asked for advice on a future bathroom renovation. Dan knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me some excellent ideas, advice and a general cost. I really appreciate his knowledge. I will be contacting him when I'm ready to tackle that job. All work was completed satisfactorily and the work area cleaned well.

Really helped me out. We had purchased a new fridge and dishwasher from Home Depot which included delivery and installation, however, when they arrived the fridge was installed without issue, the dishwasher was installed when the home was built and was under a raised counter-top, so I didn't realized it was on shims to raise its height. The delivery contractors for H.D. won't deal with anything like an appliance on shims, so I was stuck. I called Ethical, and had a great experience. Courteous, professional, punctual, work performed on-time, on-budget with no surprises.

This was our second time using Ethical Plumbing. As before excellent communication, customer service, expertise, and professionalism. We discovered a sewer line leak during an excavation next to our basement wall. Called in the morning to setup an appointment and they were able to schedule a time same day between 2 - 4PM. Received a call from owner at 1:20 that they were on the way. They arrived at 1:35 and examined the sewer line leak. While surveying the area they detected the main water line needed repair due to improper plumbing from sometime in past. So, they repaired the sewer line, main water line, and installed a missing shut off valve in interior. After the repairs they properly tested the new connections for any leaks or issues. Again, an excellent contractor that we can trust when it comes to our biggest investment.

Plumber returned several times since leak continued to reoccur. Finally succeeded in fixing it after trying several things. Responsiveness is A++

Our old garbage disposal sprung a leak. Then the sink needed to be replaced too. They were great. It was wonderful. They came in yesterday and they called before they were coming. They were here on time. They did a beautiful job. They were really really nice people and I wished I could give them an A+.

He told us for 300 dollars we had to get a new one because it is old and needs to be replaced. Low and behold that night my husband was able to put some elbow grease into fixing it and ended up getting the blades to turn again. They did help us diagnose the problem however almost got us for 300 bucks.

We were scheduled for installation within 2-3 business of calling them. They did the job quickly without too much mess. They took the old water heater with them. They were able to come earlier than our scheduled appt time, which worked well for us. Overall, we were pleased to have hot water again after a bad experience with Lowe's (they came to look at the job but kept giving us the run-around). No complaints, although the price felt a little steep for only 2 hours of work.

The owner was very patient & knowledgeable. He helped square away my problem with our home warranty. They were prompt, professional, friendly, & reasonably priced. I will use them again & would recommend their services.

These folks are great. This is the second time that I have used their services and I am once again very pleased. They were right on time, diagnosed the problem, and repaired it quickly. They are personable and honest and know their stuff. I highly recommend them.

They were very punctual although I did need to supply a small tool to extract a stripped screw. I thought they could have done a better job cleaning up afterwards.

All went well. It's been approximately 2 months and everything looks good.

He and his son were very nice. However:.....He came, looked at the faucet (that wasn't leaking), but had in the past. I hadn't used it in a long time, because when you turned it a certain way, it would leak. He swiveled it back and forth and when he left, it was leaking. I had to keep mopping up the water until I managed to turn it so it wouldn't leak. ( I couldn't turn off the water because he didn't replace the cut off valve). He said I would need to buy a new faucet, but didn't offer to cut off the water and see if it could be fixed. I asked him to fix the cut off valves so I could cut off the water under the sink. He said something like, "I'll have to replace the whole thing". But he left and didn't fix ANYTHING. He did however, ask for a check for the trip charge. I felt like I had been violated! He came, he looked and he left. What kind of plumber is that? I have since called someone else and they took care of everything. I try not to write negative reviews, but this was too blatant to ignore.

I was very happy with the work Ethical Plumbing did. They showed me how the new toilets differ in comparison to older models and how water is saved. They also cleaned up after! When they came for the initial estimate, they pointed out a danger to me and took the time to fix what they could. Excellent service! Their prices are fair and customer service is top notch. I will absolutely use them again. Nice to know I have a plumber I can trust! Thanks so much! This update is a little late, and I apologize to Ethical Plumbing. I want to mention how they went above and beyond fitting me in to their schedule when my water pressure went out. I also needed a new water heater. An appointment that should have taken days to schedule only took 1. This company is about us, the customer. Way to go and thank you!

Two men came and one went under the house. They discovered that my water softening unit was the source of water being under my house. They helped me disengage that system to solve the problem. We really don't need a water softener for the water we have in this area.

They were very helpful and I was thrilled to pieces. They are a very nice and lovely family. They let me know they were coming before they arrived and they made me feel comfortable.

Dan and his son Sean arrived about 20 minutes after I made the appointment. Both were very courteous and professional. I showed them the problem and they had it fixed within 10 to 15 minutes. I was so relieved because I had tried to get the rag out and couldn't. I then started cutting as much of it out as possible when I realized I wasn't going to be able to get it. Later on I googled it and the first thing they said was "DON'T try to cut it out!" I knew I had messed up. They then looked at the hole in the bottom of the dishwasher and told me I would have to buy another. I knew that but what I was worried about was possible water damage underneath the dishwasher. They quickly removed the panel at the bottom and discovered no leaks. Relief is an understatement! I definitely WILL use Ethical Plumbing again.
