Ethical Plumbing

This was a $25 big deal purchase. It was more than $50 by the time they left, but I was happy. They came out a couple of days after I bought the deal. They were fine.

I just moved into a condo in an older building, and I was having a problem with a leak under the sink. In addition, I wanted to replace the faucet in the kitchen. After doing some research as to who to call, I decided to go with Ethical Plumbing, and I'm SO happy I did. I called their office, and the woman who answered (Tami) was incredibly helpful. We scheduled a time, and she gave me a follow up call prior to the appointment to make sure I had all my questions answered. Day of, I got a call prior to the visit to let me know that they were on their way. The two guys who came to do the work happened to be Tami's husband and son, and they were AWESOME. Answered all my questions, fixed everything in a timely manner, and even gave me a little bit of a discount (my kitchen sink and the plumbing underneath were incredibly old, so it turned out to be a little more work than we originally thought). I'm SO happy with choosing Ethical Plumbing, and they will forever be my go to if I have a plumbing problem.

I called Ethical Plumbing on Monday. The person who answered the phone was so nice and made my appointment for Tuesday morning. They arrived exactly when they said they would. Very knowledgeable, and very nice. Absolutely fair price. I am so happy I found them. Will definitely use them again, and will recommend them to everyone I know.

Repaired the issue , very polite . All i can suggest is that they consider wearing protective booties .came in with dirty shoes and walked in and out across the carpeted bedroom floor.

They were fine. The service call was for 25 dollars but it ended up costing more because they fixed the toilet and more. I had a couple of things that I wanted done rather than say we have a service call. They should have had a menu like, fixing a toilet is this much, unplugging a sink is this much and doing something else is this much rather than, okay we are here so I would have much rather played for added rather than the menu way that it was like touch plus labor.

I had noticed water in the pan under my old water heater. I called the provider, explained the problem and they arranged for someone to come the next morning. The next morning, they arrived at the time they said they would, promptly looked at my old water heater and determined that it needed to be replaced. As the old water heater was in my attic and the expansion tank looked unstable, they recommended immediate replacement. I asked about options, including a tankless water heaters. The provider gave me clear factual information on the various options so that I could make an informed decision. They installed the new water heater that morning. The installation went well and they left my residence in perfect order. I would definitely recommend Ethical Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work. They provided quick, good quality services with no hassles.

"Dan" and an assistant came out, had approximately $40 worth of parts and supplies and charged me $250 for about 20 minutes worth of work (parts included). These were all parts I could have purchased myself at Lowe's or Home Depot and done the same job that they did. It did not relieve the need for a trap door in the deck since he so generously installed winterizing and shut off valves to the newly hacked "plumbing" job they did. You get what you pay for and the guy comes across as nothing more than a used car salesman. He essentially made $200 in 20 minutes. Not bad for a "professional". I'll have it all removed and redo it myself. They should definitely change their name to "Unethical Plumbing". I hope they enjoy their money!

The house is 17 yrs. old and we have owned the house for 10 yrs. We started to notice black spots on some of the towels that were taken out of the washer. We tried to research the problem to find out the cause. We contacted Ethical Plumbing via e-mail and received a return phone call the same day. In speaking with Dan (owner) it was determined that the anode in the water heater was causing the problem. In checking the plate on the heater it was determined the water heater was still the original that the builder installed, well past it's life time. I scheduled a date with Ethical Plumbing to replace the water heater in the crawl space. Dan picked out an energy efficient water heater, size, make and model that would fit our needs. He kept me informed all through the process. On 01/28/2016 Dan and Sean arrived sooner than the scheduled time. They removed and installed the new heater. The old heater was carted away. Their work was very neat and proficient. I found them to be very professional, courteous and they kept the needs of the customer as a priority. They fixed leaky pipes from garbage disposal self-installation attempt. It would have cost $99 to get the garbage disposal installed. Just fixing the leaky pipes (not installing) cost $146. Much more expensive than just paying to get it installed in the first place. The people installing were nice and friendly enough, and they seemed to do a good job, they're just expensive.

Very quickly and it was fixed.

This was an Angie's List deal, and our first time using them. Everything went like it should have. A part had failed, and he gave me the part and showed me how to install it, which saved me some money because installation would have put the cost over what was covered in the deal. (And Dan, the owner, was the one that suggested I could save by installing it myself, which I liked.)

I was unable to meet the technicians in person as I was at work at the time but I got a call about my pressure being too high in the house. This was great to find this out when they started but the cost started to mount and I had to thank them for their time. I did feel like I was being upsold a bit talking about codes and redoing other items that wasn't my main problem. I think these low price tune ups are a way for them to come in a find other items to fix in a home. Good for them but I only want certain things fixed that were needing attention. I am sure they are good at what they do but they might not be on the cheaper end for service.

I initially contacted Corley Plumbing, they properly diagnosed the problem and adjusted the valve as a temporary fix. Eventually the PRV valve would need to be replaced--their price was $540. The temporary fix lasted one day, I contacted Ethical Plumbing and was given an estimated of $289. They came out the next morning and replaced the part, did a wonderful job and in the process saved me several hundred dollars. All of my future plumbing needs will be done through Ethical Plumbing.

These guys were incredible! Friendly phone staff that scheuled a SAME DAY appontment. They came out and repaired the problem within HOURS of being notified. Service Techs were friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything that was happening to cause the problem. They also explained the options to repair the issue then fixed the issue in under 30 minutes!! HIGHLY recommend and will use Ethical Plumbing in the future if needed! Thanks

Was here soon after I purchased coupon. Analyzed my problem. Called me with a price on the toilet with installation. Came to install when it came it.

Excellent service...honest...would highly recommend them.

The other company had changed out a temperature valve, and didn't reset it. Ethical Plumbing came out and fixed it right away, it only took them about 5 minutes.

They did okay. They sent two people when it just should require one. They charged me for the faucet and labor. Everything was clean. It was fine. They did good service for that. They were okay. I think they did everything. My wife stayed there and she has not complained. They came when I called and requested so they were very responsive. They were good with their punctuality and professionalism as well.

They did a good friendly fast job. The only thing was they did not clean up their mess and left parts and dirt in my bathroom

Very professional as far as scheduling a time and showing up promptly. Communicated the problem and my choices and the costs involved. Showed me the problem, and was very polite. I would definitely use them again. I don't know how the price compares to others, but for plumbing, it is worth it to me to have peace of mind and trust in the provider.

I had an appointment, but when I heard that they were adding a service call on top of the deal, I cancelled the service. It was not disclosed in the deal, so I was blind sighted from it.

I called Dan on Monday and they were able to come out on Wednesday. It didn't take long at all and they were spot on with the clean up!

Who knew that having a leak show up in the dining room ceiling could be such a good experience. I called Ethical Plumbing because of their positive reviews on Angie's list, and they didn't disappoint. They came to my house on two occasions: first to figure out where the leak was coming from and then to repair it. Both times, they called when they were on their way and arrived on time. They were professional, friendly, and courteous. They thoroughly investigated the leak and after ruling out several possibilities, honed in on the source of the leak. Because the leak was the result of faulty work by someone else, they recommended that I call the plumber who originally installed the bathroom (before I purchased the home). Dan coached me on what I should say, and was insistent that the original plumber should repair the work for free if they stood behind their work. It impressed me that Dan and Sean would rather see the right thing done than make money. They could have easily just encouraged me to hire them to do the repair. Unfortunately, I found out through the previous home owner that the plumbing wasn't done by a reputable plumber, so I called Ethical Plumbing and scheduled a time for them to repair the leak. The work was completed quickly and efficiently, and they didn't leave until they were certain that it was fixed. Importantly, I know that this is a company that stands behind its work, so even if it does start leaking again, I'm confident that they would return to get it right. The total cost (both visits) came out to be about $217. This does not include the additional expense of repairing the hole in my ceiling.
