Crew did good job, professional, and cleaned up when finished

It was awesome. James came out with an incredible truck/piece of equipment and took the entire tree down one piece at a time - remote control, without leaving the ground. He was working in a tight space and felling a LARGE tree, and he did it quickly, carefully and safely. By the time I came home, the only sign that he'd even been here was some sawdust. He hauled off all of the wood and debris, and left the place looking good. And did I mention he was far and away the most affordable bid we received? PLEASE NOTE: In the pictures, the stump was left at my request. Winds up the tree had rot from the ground up - see stump image. James did a great job and was a pleasure to work with.

They were great. They did everything I needed and did it fairly quick. They cleaned up real well and I only had to wait a week for them to be out here. Their price was very competitive.

When we noticed that our large tree in the front of the house had a split down the center of the trunk, we became concerned it would fall over on the house. We tried to reach several local tree companies on Angie's List and no one returned our calls. We then called Carolina Tree Co in Taylors and they answered the phone and came to see the tree that day, giving us an honest diagnosis and an extremely reasonable price. They scheduled a service call for a day away and then called before coming and were on time for the appointment. They cabled the tree (not an easy task), trimmed out several branches, shaped the tree, cleaned up the debris, removed a dead tree stump, and left the property looking great. Was very pleased with the work and the personnel who were both friendly, but very professional. We asked about a trimming another tree on the property and the owner told us that it would be fine to wait until next year. He could have made more money right then, but he was honest with us. I will definitely be using this company in the future.

I got the company's name off Angie's List and the owner came that very afternoon to look at the job. The actual scope of the job changed several times (due to circumstances related to executing the landscape architect's plan and not due to additional work suggested by Carolina Tree Co.) Throughout the changes the owner, James Matt, was helpful, professional and patient in revising his bid. I sought five bids and his was the one that, although not the absolute lowest, was the most reasonable for the scope of the work and the difficulty of the job. He and his crew were prompt, professional and courteous. I am glad his company did the work.
