 + 0 moreEach job was done quickly and to a good quality. Have used Ben 3 times. Firstly in an emergency when I broke the mains pipe in the yard. He came very quickly and fixed the pipe in no time. Second time he replumbed the feed to and from our hot tank, to fix a problem with black particles in the hot water. the fix worked fine. Today he came to sort out a problem with a toilet that was not flushing well - which took him just a few minutes to find the proplem and fix it
Description of Work: Have used Ben 3 times. Fixed a broken mains supply. Fixed a poorly flushing toilet. Replaced the plumbing to and from the hot tank - swapping flexible hoses with copper piping.

 + -1 moreIt was a pipe under the house. It was easy to see where it was. He went in and replaced it. It was quick and painless. I'm looking at having some other plumbing work done by him in the future.
Description of Work: We had a busted water line. We called him as soon as we found it and he was there within 4-5 hours.

 + -1 moreIt has been a nightmare living in this house because of the plumbing problems. Capital Plumbing is the most incompetent contractors that I have ever met.
Description of Work: In July of 2007, we bought a new million dollar plus house and the builder had used Capital Plumbing to do the plumbing. From day one we had problems with the 3rd floor toilet that would not flush. About four technicians came a total of five times over a 4 month period to fix the problem. Between each visit we had to call them many times to get them to even come and try to fix the problem. Each time they would bring a different snake and try to clear the line unsuccessfully. On the last trip the owner Ben came. He spent less than 5 minutes and figured out that they had forgotten to remove the test plug. He removed the test plug and we have not had a problem with that toilet. We have had an ongoing problem of getting hot water in our 2nd floor bathrooms. When one hot water tap is turned on, hot water in another bathroom immediately turns cold. Capital Plumbing installed three 75 gallon water heaters in our home when they built it. Still no two people can take a shower at one time. When we complained about the problem, Capital Plumbing came and said we need to install insulation on the pipes and that would solve the problem. We paid them to insulate the pipes. However a year later we are still having problems. We had another plumbing company come over and see what the problem is and they said Capital Plumbing insulated the cold water pipes instead of the hot water pipes.

 + -1 moreThey had poor work quality. They did not appear knowledgeable in their work. Their billing was inaccurate. They tried to take shortcuts with our plumbing work that was obviously wrong and not workable. The general contractor hired this company and had most of the dealings with them. When we noticed a problem we would tell the contractor.
Description of Work: They did all of the plumbing in our house when we built it 7 years ago. Our general contractor picked them.
