We bought carpet and laminate from Brooks Flooring. The installation was so shoddy, we are having to replace the carpet less than four years after it was installed. They came out numerous times to "fix" the problem, which consisted of stretching the carpet to try to fill in the gap between the living room and the laminate in the dining area. Of course, three hours later, the gap was back. The carpet was cut too short and the installers tried to Mickey Mouse it instead of repairing it correctly. After trying to get it fixed, they basically said it was out of warranty and pretty much "ghosted" us. One of the employees said he would come out on a Friday and look at it - we're still waiting. Guess he didn't specify which Friday.

The staff at Brooks Carpet were very helpful and knowledgeable. We selected our carpet from the many options on display in their store. Julia Brooks came out for the measurements and was very professional and friendly. The install crew came out in the morning on the day they were supposed to and were able to finish the install in a single day (they worked very hard all day and were willing to stay late and finish it). There was only one small issue with the placement of a seam in our bedroom and Julia promptly and courteously rescheduled a correction to be made. The crew came out for the correction on the day and time they were supposed to and took care of it within about 2 hours. Overall, we were extremely happy with our experience at Brooks and would highly recommend them for your carpet and flooring needs.

When we decided to replace the flooring in our home, we had many concerns. The cost, the timeframe and how many subcontractors would we be dealing with. We cannot express how pleased we are with our experience with Brooks Flooring, Inc. From our initial phone conversation with Phil, to our showroom visit with Julia, to the actual installation, everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable and timely. All our questions and concerns were addressed and alleviated. We never felt pressured and everything was scheduled to our timeframe. The wood flooring services of Brooks Flooring, out of Taylors, SC, was exceptional and so was the quality of their work. Also, their prices were highly reasonable. From the emails with Julia to the sales person Jim, they answered all questions in a timely manner with no sales pressure whatsoever. The installers, Waldir and his partner, were highly professional and put down the flooring as if it were their own. They were able to match our other wood floors perfectly. Service and quality was great. Julia was able to meet next day, brought foreman that was able to come up with ideas to avoid unnecessary transitions between old laminate and tile floor, looks fantastic. Would happily do business with again.

From start to finish, Brooks flooring was very easy to work with. Everyone that I talked to was very friendly and they were very responsive. The quality of the work was also very good. They filled all the nail holes of the shoe molding which was a big plus as I've had to fight with contractors over this issue. After I received the initial quote, I decided to do the removal myself. Although it wasn't terribly expensive, I wanted to save some money. Not recommended if you have linoleum floors. It was probably not worth it in the long run because they are incredibly annoying to remove and are installed on wood subfloors with a million staples. On the positive side, I got some experience removing and installing toilets. Very pleased with Brooks and would definitely work with them again in the future.

My experience with Brooks Flooring was excellent. Starting with the selection of the floor with Phil at the showroom to the installation with Rene and his team it was great. They were very helpful and completed the task in a timely manner.

I worked with three local flooring companies to get estimates and measurements for carpeting our basement and stairs. I chose Brooks Flooring for the following reasons: 1. Overwhelmingly, they were the most knowledgeable and most prepared when they came out to measure. One salesperson works with you throughout the entire process, instead of being passed around between different people. 2. Their estimate was $1,000 less than a competitor -- they are very reasonable and don't overcharge for labor. 3. They were able to get the carpet and install within a short timeframe. 4. Best customer service in town -- they showed up on time and made sure that we were satisfied. One of our friends who is a contractor had recommended Brooks Flooring and I highly recommend this company!

Brooks Flooring was THE best! Phil was prompt and professional and provided many options for me to consider. In addition, he looked at the existing hardwood in order to make the best match and even inspected under the house to check the moisture content. They arrived on time, kept the areas clean and explained the process as they went along. I had four estimates that I wasn't impressed with the pricing or the people, but then I found Brooks on Angie's List! Brooks' price was comparable to one other, but Phil's knowledge and professionalism is what sold me! Everyone that sees my flooring says it looks original to the house---- and it is absolutely beautiful! I can't believe I waited so long to do it!

Wonderful. In January of 2017 Brooks did my Dinning Room, Living Room, Hall, and Bathroom in a beautiful tile floor. I hire them again to come back and continue the same tile in the Kitchen and Laundry room flooring. Now I have a consistent flow throughout my open concept . I absolutely love it. Again, Brooks did not disappoint! Phil was great, he came out to measure, and gave me a really good price. He sent out the same men to do the great job they had previously done. They are exceptional. Absolute perfection! Love the Guys! Don’t hesitate to call Brooks, you won’t be disappointed.

Everyone on both crews was hard working and skilled at their jobs. They were also pleasant. Jim, our sales guy was great,helpful with choosing the new flooring, both wood laminate and carpet, and he kept us well informed of all the steps along the way. We love our floors and would recommend Brooks Flooring to anyone who asks.

Brooks Flooring was a pleasure to work with. They were responsive to all my needs and calls. The flooring arrived exactly at the time of promised delivery. The installation was exceptional - Juanfer was an exceptional hardwood installer. Very meticulous and professional. They cleaned up everything at the end of each day and at the end of the job and went out of their way to place the furniture back exactly how I wanted it.

From estimation to installation was pleasant and professional.

It went well. There was a mixup on communication which delayed the start of the project by a week. Other than that things went quite smoothly. We are very happy with the carpets and the pads feel great under the feet. We did buy the top of the line in the carpets and pads and we’re glad we did. Brooks had many many samples and choices not quite as expensive but which would have certainly been adequate. But since we plan to be here for the next twenty years we went with the best available. We had 3 large bedrooms with closets, a very large family room, plus stairs carpeted. The master had wood installation. And the Kilz for protection from previous floor issues was done in every room.

They did a great job installing hardwood laminate and carpet. Phil was great to work with.

Someone was supposed to come out on a Thursday to measure. I called and there was a mix up and so we rescheduled it for the following Monday. He came and measured. He was supposed to email me a quote. Its now been over a week and no quote or phone call. Guess they didnt want my business?

The guy from Brooks came out and did measurements. They ordered the materials quickly due to the urgency of the order but the material still arrived late - I think it was only a day. No one that I spoke to at brooks was onsite for the installation. It seemed like it was 3 men the contract for installation. I had ordered LVT that click in. Due to the length there was a lot of pieces scrapped and they did not have enough to complete 2 of the rooms. When the 2nd round of material finally arrived they did install the same day. However they did not clean up after the installation. The floor was coated in heavy dirt, there were marks all over the wall, one corner had a large chip in the dry wall, dust on the baseboards, and the quarter round was chipped. They did come back to replace the quarter round but I went through a full pack of swifter wet mops to clean the floors before I moved in and I had to buy paint to touch up the walls that were damaged/dirty. They did offer to reimburse me if I had professional cleaners but I was closing the next day and didn't have time. This was in late July. Now in October most parts of the floors look good. I like the resilience of the material. However there are about 7 areas with large gaps between the planks on both the short and long ends that show the poor quality of the installation. These gaps are wider than 1/8 inch, very obvious when you look at the floor, you can feel it when you walk over them, and the collect dust/dirt easily. I am extremely unhappy with the way these were installed. It looks poorly done and all of my guests have pointed it out.

Brooks Flooring was fantastic each step of the way. Phil was efficient, thorough and punctual when coming to measure the space. He was very flexible in scheduling and re-scheduling our installation which was really appreciated. The staff in the showroom was very knowledgeable. The price was competitive and was very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. The floors are gorgeous. Brooks was so easy to deal with, it was completely seamless. I'd definitely go with them again.

No reason for complaints; only took a few days for job to get started, and 2 days for completion.
