Description of Work: We called DMZ for a small siding repair (to replace about 3 slabs where we had removed an old air conditioner from the wall) and also asked to re-cap the trim on our garage door to match our new Windows. They were quick to reply to my inquiry and made me feel confident they could find the same siding and do the repair (we were struggling to get a siding company for such a small job). He came out and assured us he could get the same siding and get it complete within a week or two. The price blew us away a bit as he was nearly triple what others had told us to anticipate. We tried to negotiate down but he was adamant that he gave a fair price. Given he was the first to say he could do the repair and get the same siding,we agreed to the price. He said he'd be in touch in a few days to confirm when he finds the siding. A week later we hadn't heard from him so my husband called to follow up. He told us he wasn't able to find the same siding but was going to check with another manufacturer. Another week passed and we didn't hear anything. My husband followed up again and got the same excuse. In the meantime my husband called another siding repair guy. We were able to get the siding and capping done within a week with the exact same siding as what was on the house, and for less than half the price DMZ quoted. We were also told our siding was a popular brand and easy to come across. Not sure what happened with DMZ but glad it worked out so we didn't end up overpaying. Friendly guy but slow responsiveness. Given the snowy winter month we were in, we needed the repair done faster than DMZ could provide.

Description of Work: DMZ cleaned the gutters and inspected the roof of my townhouse unit. They discovered and replaced the rotting wood of the front gable. They also repaired rake molding facing the neighbor's unit. The work went well and currently no issues. DMZ staff was very professional and responsive. They kept me informed of the work and thoroughly explained the process.

We arranged for a time for him to come by, and he arrived on time, just as he did on the day he arrived with his assistant to do the requested work. David did excellent work and was absolutely great to deal with--I definitely plan to use him again. I have used other good handymen on Angie's List, but I am even more pleased with David's work than I have been with the others!

 + 3 moreThe project manager (David) answered the first call I made to DMZ. I explained what I thought I needed and he was kind enough to come on a Sunday afternoon (worked best for me) to provide an estimate. After he inspected the condition of the roof, he explained (and showed me) what needed to be done. He scheduled the work for the following week and showed up exactly when he said he would. The work was performed as expected, on time and according to budget.
Description of Work: Replaced the roof on our front porch (about 6x20ft). This included several sheets of plywood and all the fascia boards. Also had to replace some wood that was rotted on the ceiling structure inside the porch.

I watched them work on my neighbors deck (Power washing, staining) and was in amazement of how they transformed my neighbors backyard area from dead grass to a nice stone tile walk way. I want one! Very professional and friendly and recommend for all your roofing, indoor and outdoor upgrades.
Description of Work: Repaired gutters, fixed pipe collar and repaired a piece of siding. Also did some painting for me on another occasion. Fixed a few holes for me and looks good as new!
