Richard came out to our house less than 30 minutes after I called for help. He was professional, quick, knowledgeable and friendly. He even installed our new garbage disposal in the kitchen while he was here. I can not thank him enough for rescuing us.

Tried to charge my family $5000 for something that actually cost $95. Move on to a company with integrity...or at the very least, get a second opinion.

They never called a ssecond time to set-up an appointment for on-site for an estimate. They only made contact once and just never called back. We needed ASAP as my husband is a handicapped veteran.

Job was completed in one day. It was convenient. I woke up with no hot water. Called Hill's (it was on a Friday) around 10am and they had one of their plumbers call me right back so I could explain the problem. He gave me a time that he would be at my home. He called me when he was on the way. He arrived at the time he had said he would (3:30pm). He showed me the problem. Water heater was leaking. (It was 22 years old). It needed to be replaced. I didn't have time or a truck to go purchase one myself. He replaced it and we had hot water by 6pm.

It was fine. They were very responsive.

Recently, I started having intermittent problems with my tankless hot-water heater. After exhausting my maintenance efforts, I researched creditable businesses via Angie’s list and discovered Hill Plumbing & Electric Inc. After a brief call to them, a technician (Jason) arrived and he intently listened as I explained the tankless hot-water heater problems and the maintenance history of the unit. Afterwards, Jason carefully explained possible causes and what actions he would be taken to diagnose the problem(s). Jason quickly discovered the problem, repaired the unit and explained what actions were taken. The repair cost was fair and reasonable; much less than I expected. Additionally, Jason provided a full unit replacement quote, as my tankless unit is 14-years old and nearing its life expectancy. I’m extremely impressed with Hill Plumbing & Electric Inc. and I highly recommend them. Their customer service and technical skills are exceptional.

Everything worked out fine. They were punctual and finished the job in a timely manner.

Woke up Friday morning with no hot water. Called Hill Plumbing Co and they were able send a technician before lunch. The technician was polite and even wore shoe covers over his boots. He said he could change out the elements but would would recommend changing the water heater due the water heater was over 20years old and was showing signs of rust along the bottom of the tank. By 2:00 pm I had hot water with my new water heater. The technician was very knowledgeable and truly appreciate his recommendation because when he removed my old water heater the bottom was covered in rust. To top it off he discounted me 10% because my wife teaches at Alice Drive Elementary.

Very professional. Explained and showed where the problem was and what was done to fix it. Overall fast friendly and very professional.

They removed a bundle of roots left by another plumbing company, Mr Rooter of Hartsville, SC, less than a month before. Hill Plumbing was quick to respond, very efficient, professional and courteous. We live in a small town about 25 miles away and we felt the price was very reasonable. We will definitely use them for future plumbing issues.

Had to call back two additional times to the office scheduler to get one of their staff to come over. Very very poor service and consequently will not call them back for any future service. It says they've been in business since 1924 (cant see how with this kind of service)

Didn't use them and will NEVER use them in the future. I'm a local business owner myself and that is not how you conduct business!

Our house was built in 1948 and a large addition was added in 1962. Following a garden wedding at our home the bathrooms at the rear of the house would not drain properly. Andrew of Hill Plumbing arrived and attempted to find the clean out. There was none. He attempted to snake out the drains but there were obstructions. He brought in a video camera on the end of a snake and found the problems. He installed a new clean out and provided some options to permanently repair the problems caused by the 1962 addition and age of the plumbing. Andrew worked harder and knew the answers to every issue better than any plumber I've ever encountered. It may have been more expensive than some others, but you get what you pay for and I was very satisfied with the work and experience. By the way, I called three other plumbers before Hill and either got put off for a week or was never answered.

This company has lost my business. The plumbers were very professional and provided excellent service. I give them an A. However, the office staff gets a solid D, leaning toward an F. I took us 4 months to finally get a billing issue straightened out. The office staff told us they would bill the insurance company direct, but they never did. I made several calls over a few months (because they kept sending bills to me), and each time they told me to ignore the bill and they would send it to the insurance. I would have happily paid the bill and sent it to the insurance if Hill would have asked (I even offered). Finally, Hill sent me a collection notice; that made no sense since they agreed to bill the insurance. I finally paid the bill; it then took multiple phone calls and then a visit to get the paid receipt. When I went to pickup the receipt, the office staff was polite, but unconcerned about my trouble; the billing staff seemed affronted that I would offer criticism. I felt I was overly polite and offered constructive criticism on how they could avoid this in the future. I made it clear that I was happy with the plumbing work and would like to continue to patronize them, but I received no apology for the time I had to take to deal with this or any acknowledgement that that could have done better. Hill has lost my business. There are too many options in the service industry to do business with a average company anymore.

AFTER TRYING TO USE SNAKE TO UNSTOP THE WATER PROBLEM, THE SERVICEMAN LEFT WITHOUT SOLVING THE ISSUE. HE SUGGESTED THAT I CALL ANOTHER SERVICEPERSON. THE TUB WAS LEFT DIRTY.

These young men were professional and did all of the work in a very efficient manner. I am very happy with the service.

They were very good. They were punctual as they sent a representative out the same day I called and they returned the next day to fix the problem. I was very impressed. I highly recommend them if anyone is looking for a plumber in the area.

I found them online through Google. I have used them twice and they were really good. They are really nice. It was very easy to get hold of them. They had somebody out the next day, and he came out and fixed my stuff. He was in and out in less than an hour. It was an emergency after-hours call when my pipe blew, and they came right out within about an hour. I was very happy with their work. They did a great job when they fixed the hot water heater. All the guys who have been here were really good. They explained what they were doing, what went wrong, and how they were fixing it because I like to know. I really like it when people talk to me and tell me what they are doing, and they were really good about that. They were very polite. Their office seems to have a little communication issue. They give me a pager number for an on-call guy if I call, and it is after hours and an emergency. They get right out there when they say they will. They will call and tell that they are on their way.
